Good afternoon from Roda. Hopefully this will be the last late report for a few days. I had to go to Agros for my Covid booster vaccination. I got back and cleared my balconies to give space for the wardrobe that I was buying from my neighbours. Then I had a coffee morning with friends, some of whom came back to help me with the furniture. So, it is all rebuilt and in place, I just need to put all the mess away now. Steve had got one of Maggie’s restaurant tables, which has been on the end of the balcony. It is a good job that I moved it because it was rotten to the point of collapse! This morning, after quite a cold night when the temperature just about kept in double figures, I awoke to an almost clear sky with only a few inoffensive clouds stuck over mountain tops. The sea was flat calm and so clear when I drove along it. The wind was barely there, but we did have a bit of a haze muting the clarity of the mainland. On the drive to Agros the valets were full of mist, but on the way back the mist had gone and the hillsides were wreathed in smoke from the innumerable fires at the moment. It is olive picking and pruning season. As the morning aged the clouds did start to build up to the south and west. And it became dull.
The temperature at 10 am on Saturday 13th November was 14.3°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday we started off with clear skies and plenty of sunshine, the afternoon was very cloudy giving us a few dull spells some quite long at times. There were almost no clouds left by sunset which gave a lovely golden glow in the sky before setting. The evening had a half moon and plenty of stars. The sea was still flat calm with barely a ripple and the wind was absent. We have had this same sort of weather for a few days now, and very similar to this time last year even down to the temperatures. It is very warm in the sun when the temperature hit 42°C in full sun. It was however a cool 13.6°C at 10pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 18.3°C and the minimum temperature was 13.3°C.
This day last year started off with clear skies, a calm sea and a gentle breeze. The clouds built up to the south and west over the hills giving dull spells as the sun lies quite low in the sky. The clouds had almost completely gone by pretty sunset, leading onto a calm clear starlit night. The maximum temperature was 18.1°C and the minimum was 10.7°C.
TEMPERATURE EXTREMES My recorded temperatures The highest recorded temp 2021 33.0°C 5th August The lowest recorded temp 2021 1.7°C 19th. January The official maximum recorded temperature ever in Corfu was 42.8°C With the lowest recorded temperature was -8.8°C.

Good morning from Roda. It was a slightly warmer night, with the temperature only dropping to 12°C, but the dappled clouded skies that were present when I went to bed had been replaced by thick grey clouds giving us quite heavy rain when I got up. This gradually eased to lighter rain with thunder occasionally heard throughout. The rain had stopped by 11am and the sun was shining through some breaks in the clouds to the south. It still looked dark skied to the north across a peacock green choppy sea with some white horses scattered across it. Albania is just lost in the murk.
The temperature at 10 am on Sunday 14th November was 14.9°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday started off with just pretty scattered clouds across a blue sky. There was a calm and silent sea all day with not energy to do anything other than to lap on the shore. There was barely any breeze to ruffle that calm surface. The clouds built up in the afternoon as they had got into the habit to. Before partially clearing to give a nice sunset. The evening was calm with a waxing half-moon and plenty of stars shining among the scattered clouds. It was a chilly walk back from Alexandros with the temperature at midnight around 12°C.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.3°C and the minimum temperature was 10.9°C.
This day last year we had a haze but clear skies, no wind and a silent sea. The wind got up in the afternoon but faded quickly, leaving behind the waves it had stirred up. The sunset was muted leading onto a cool starlit night. The maximum temperature was 18.9°C and the minimum was 10.8°C.

When I got up I saw that we had had quite a bit of rain after I had got in after midnight. We have had spells of drizzly light rain and some more determined showers, but the sun is trying to get through the clouds and it is dry as I write this. We do have a bit of a breeze which is driving the rain on my south balcony, so I retreated to the north one, where it was just warm enough to have my breakfast. The sea seems calm, but ruffled, in front of a mainland that is hardly even a block of colour. It is supposed to be dry this afternoon with the occasional shower before a dry evening.
The temperature at 10 am on Monday 15th November was 16.9°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday after the overnight rain continued to be wet during the morning, but easing and drying up completely by 11am. The sea was an amazing peacock blue/green colour and very ruffled with just a hint of a white horse every now and again. It had dried up by afternoon apart from a final flurry of a shower. Quite a bit of the sky cleared during the afternoon, leaving a few gaps for the sun to perform. I missed the sunset as I was ploughing through a Greek lesson and realised it had gone dark outside. I did step out to see a dramatic cloudy sky with the moon playing peek-a-boo behind dramatic backlit clouds. The evening was dry and mild with the temperature a pleasant 16°C at midnight. We had so many lights from the villages on the mainland, a passing ship bright with lights, and the scattering of street lights along the bay here. The moon was quite fuzzy behind a cloud, there sea was flat calm (and so clear even with just the street lights) and the breeze had died away.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 19.0°C and the minimum temperature was 12.1°C.
This day last year started off with a scattering of pink tipped clouds that proceeded to gather in numbers as the morning progressed. There was no wind and the sea was calm as I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Most of the clouds cleared away to give a very pretty sunset and a cool, but starlit night . The maximum temperature was 18.1°C and the minimum was 11.2°C.

I opened my curtains and my eyes to the tail end of a very pretty dawn with pink streaks of clouds decorating a pale blue sky. It has stayed lovely and sunny since then with breakfast starting off on the sunny south balcony but it was too hot so I moved to the cooler north facing one. This move showed me the bank of clouds to the west, but they are far away from the sun. The mainland is still lovely and clear, across a slightly ruffled sea with a graceful small ferry making its way eastward. There is just a hint of a breeze. We are due sunshine all day, much better than the rain forecast only a few days ago. The whole week was supposed to be wet but yes, we have had some rain but not all day and we have been able to get out and enjoy some sunshine every day.
The temperature at 10 am on Tuesday 16th November was 17.6°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday there was a fair bit of rain after midnight and we had some lingering showers some heavier than others until it all fizzled out in the late morning with the sun trying to be seen through the clouds. Albania which had barely been more than a hint on the horizon in the morning suddenly showed itself as the haze and rain ceased. The clouds started to gather again in the late afternoon so we didn’t get a sunset, merely a slight peach flush on the thinner clouds. However, they did partially clear to show an almost full moon and a scattering of clouds. We must have had some strong gusts of wind, it had been quite breezy all day, as I found plant pots scattered on the balcony. It was however, a very mild evening with the end of night temperature 18°C.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 19.5°C and the minimum temperature was 15.6°C.
This was how clear the mainland became in the afternoon, stunning.
This day last year we had clear skies form the start with just a few decorative clouds around, a gentle breeze and a slight haze. The clouds started multiplying for a while to give some dull spell before almost clearing to give a good sunset. The night was dark, calm with a starlit sky. The maximum temperature was 17.9°C and the minimum was 11.1°C.

It was another mild night with the dawn temperature just under 16C. Looking out we have an almost completely cloudy sky with a few blue patches and a sun that is trying to make its presence felt. There is no wind and the sea is calm but whispering its way ashore. Albania is just about there peering through some haze. But it was a very nice 18C for my breakfast on the balcony and the sun is winning its battle and I have sunshine streaming through the windows as I write this. We are still due a couple of rainy days, but much better than the full week that was forecast last week.
The temperature at 10 am on Wednesday 17th November was 17.6°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday was mostly a dry but cloudy day but we did have a few good spells of sunshine, so overall it wasn’t a bad day. It stayed windless and the sea flat calm apart from when the afternoon breeze sprang up for a while. We did get a spit or two of rain in the late afternoon, which I would have missed if I wasn’t walking into the village at the time. Any sunset was barely seen as just a flash of colour on the otherwise grey clouds. They weren’t uniformly grey and were back lit by what must have been an almost full moon to give an interesting sky. The clarity we had had all day lasted into the evening as there were so many mainland village lights shining bright across the channel. The sea was still flat calm and there was no wind as I walked back from the village feeling very mild with the temperature at 17C at 10pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 20.5°C and the minimum temperature was 15.2°C.
his day last year we saw overnight rain but a dark and very cloudy day with only a few short spells of sunshine. A cool wind in the afternoon and steady rain which lasted for the rest of the day completed the poor day. The maximum temperature was 17.9°C and the minimum was 11.1°C.

Good morning from Roda, I awoke early to the tail end of a very pretty dawn with pink streaky clouds on a blue back ground. Not the rain that was forecast. But the clouds did gather and my friend in Skripero report thunder, lightning and rain whilst it was still bright here. But the thunder and the rain found us, starting off light but now a steady downpour. The thunder didn’t last long and I saw no lightning. The rain and murk have come down the hills behind us and Albania is completely lost. The sea is calm as the wind is coming from the south, but it is gusty at times. We have been having problems with the electricity going off a couple of times this morning. This rain is only supposed to last today with the next two supposed to be sunny.
The temperature at 10 am on Thursday 18th November was 15.2°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday started off quite cloudy with no wind and a flat calm and silent sea. Albania was showing nicely across that calm sea, though I think it was hidden by some haze earlier on. It got slightly breezy, with the occasional gust, and the skies started to clear to give some nice sunshine in the afternoon. The clouds remained around the edges to give an OK sunset. Early evening saw an almost full moon rising from the east in a star strewn sky. However, by the time I did my check before going to bed the clouds had covered the sky again and it was decided cool with the temperature a shade under 15°C.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 19.7°C and the minimum temperature was 14.7°C at night the dawn temperature was 15.7°C.
This day last year it was raining in town in the morning but in the north, we had clearing skies with patches of sun on the mainland. The sea was calm and the wind barely discernible. There was a slight haze as the clouds slowly cleared to give a good amount of sunshine in the afternoon. It was a completely cloudy evening after a sunset that turned every cloud pink. The maximum temperature was 18.1°C and the minimum was 15.7°C.

Good afternoon from Roda, apologies for the late report but a coffee morning with friends called. But what a lovely sight it was to wake up after going to bed with a constant light drizzle. We had wall to wall sunshine, with hardly any haze to hide the mainland and a gentle breeze. The sea looked slightly ruffled but there was barely any noise form the waves coming ashore, just a gentle lapping. Breakfast in the sun on the balcony, it may have only been 14°C in the shade but it was in the mid 20’s in full sun, by lunch it had risen to nearly 37°C. A few clouds decided to come along to decorate the sky.
The temperature at 10 am on Friday 19th November was 13.9°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday was just wet and thundery with an occasional flash of lightning. With the rain varying from very heavy to a light drizzle. Generally, there wasn’t much of a breeze, but we did get a spell of quite strong gusts. By the late afternoon there was a bit of blue appearing to the north west and we got this brooding sunset before the clouds took over again. It was a cool 14.6°C at 10pm with a very light drizzle. I had to step out of the shelter of the balcony to actually check, because after heavy rain you can actually hear the ground draining!
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 15.4°C and the minimum temperature was 13.9°C.
This day last year was a bright and sunny with few clouds and a little haze. The wind was gentle and the waves barely audible. The afternoon breeze chased away the remaining clouds to give a stunning sunset before dying completely. The maximum temperature was 18.1°C and the minimum was 15.7°C.

It was a cool night, with a noisy sea soothing me to sleep. I awoke early and opened the curtains to a lovely looking dawn, so I jumped out of bed and grabbed my phone. The first picture is from my north balcony, but the second spectacular one was from my south facing one. It soon faded away, but so lovely. The standard 10am shows blue skies and streaky clouds, we also have a gentle breeze and a calm sea, however there are white topped small waves coming ashore. It might be barely 13C in the shade but warm enough for breakfast in the sun.
The temperature at 10 am on Saturday 20th November was 13.0°C.
The reported UV for Today is 1 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday stayed dry and sunny all day. The cloud varied in amount but always stayed away from the sun. There were just enough to give a gentle but pretty sunset, non in the western sky but enough around to turn pink in the dying rays. The gentle breeze we had had in the morning grew to be a strong wind in the early evening with a change of direction. The winds recently have mostly been from the south but they swung round to the north and my windows were being battered. The sea was churned up into loud noisy waves. The wind went almost as quick as it came but the waves stayed big and noisy well after I went to bed.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.4°C and the minimum temperature was 11.5°C.
This day last year was very sunny with very few clouds around, after a cold night. There was a slight haze a gentle breeze and a calm sea, and it stayed that way all day. The night with a full moon and a sky full of stars was preceded by a glorious sunset. The maximum temperature was 16.5°C and the minimum was 8.2°C.

It was a lovely cloudless picture to the north when I opened my curtains after a cool night. We do have some haze blurring the mainland, a gentle breeze and a calm looking but noisy sea. To the south there is a good scattering of cotton wool type clouds, some with grey underbellies. I have quickly got my washing out on the line as this could be the last sunshine we see in a week or more. It may only be 15°C in the shade but it feels so hot in the sun. I am off for a walk along the beach to Acharavi for brunch.
The temperature at 10 am on Sunday 21st November was 13.3°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday was a beautiful cloudless day, OK there were one or two miniscule ones, but they barely counted. The waves did increase in number despite there being no real increase in the strength of the gentle breeze. By the evening they were trying to splash up onto the road by the Coral. The beauty of living here in Roda came with the dying rays of the sun when the whole world turned pink with the crags and valleys of the mainland all in varying shades of this pink. Tiny clouds punctuated the sky rimmed in the same colour. It was one of those transient moments that you just have to stop and admire mother nature at her best. The actually sunset in the west was a very poor second-best flash of gold. The evening was cool, with a full moon rising amidst a crowd of stars shining through a slight haze. There was a reasonable show of lights from the mainland villages as I walked back from the quiz at Alexandros. It was a chilly 11°C at midnight.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 16.6°C and the minimum temperature was 10.1°C.
This day last year we had a cold night but had a lovely dawn. The clouds steadily build up until the drizzle and light rain started and set in for the afternoon. The evening was cool but at least it was dry. The maximum temperature was 15.8°C and the minimum was 8.4°C.

After mild night I opened the curtains to a very cloudy day and a light drizzle. By the time I had surfaced properly after my cup of tea the rain had started in earnest, the clouds and murk had come down the mountain sides and we were getting some rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning. Albania was completely shrouded in the rain, and we had quite a southerly breeze for a while. It all has gone quiet now with the rain having stopped just after 11am, the wind has gone. When I stepped out to check if it actually had stopped raining you could hear the earth draining. The ditches round the apartment are full!
The temperature at 10 am on Monday 22nd November was 14.9°C.
The reported UV for Today is 1-2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday started off lovely with wall-to-wall sunshine in the morning, and my friends and I had a very pleasant walk along the beach road to go to Ilo in Acharavi. But, whilst we were sat there busy enjoying a spot of brunch the blue skies got almost completely covered with clouds some of them very dark and threatening. It stayed very warm though with the sun finding a few blue patches. The breeze stayed kind and the sea calm. At the end of the afternoon the sun was low enough beneath the clouds and found a way through. We ended the afternoon with that glorious golden clear light, before descending into a brooding sunset. The early evening sky had cleared to show the moon and stars amongst the clouds, but by bedtime the clouds mostly won, but we still had one or two gaps for the stars. It was a mild 14.3°C at 10.30pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.6°C and the minimum temperature was 10.4°C.
This day last year was mostly cloudy with only a few blue patches, whilst staying mostly cloudy the day did brighten as it wore on to give some sunny spells and a so-so sunset. The evening sky partially cleared to show the moon and some stars with wind that we’d had all day dropped away. The maximum temperature was 16.5°C and the minimum was 11.7°C.

Good afternoon from Roda. Apologies for the late report but I had a coffee morning with friends at Karousades. There was heavy rain and thunder as I drove to my friends and when I got there my friend had no electricity, but as you are all used to this and have small gas stoves and she had baked the lovely cake the day before, so the coffee morning was saved. Another friend living at Kavolouri also had no power. Anyway, back to the weather. I awoke to a fairly cloudy but bright start to the day with lovely clear views across the calm sea to Albania. I was chatting with a friend from Skripero where it was pouring with rain with a thunder and lightning storm. The light drizzle that we had a first soon became a much heavier and the thunder and lightning became more frequent. Then it all started to clear to give lovely views again of the mainland with its cloud filled valleys.
The temperature at 10 am on Tuesday 23rd November was 14.1°C.
The reported UV for Today is 1-2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday morning we had rain to varying degrees, from light drizzle to heavy downpours. We also had a few rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning. The breeze stayed gentle and the sea calm in the morning but we did get a couple of strong gusts in the afternoon. The rain dried up by mid-day and the sun broke through for a couple of hours and I managed to get out for a walk and to do some shopping. The rain returned, quite heavy at first, before petering out to a persistent drizzle for the rest of the day. It was a mild 14.5°C as I went to bed to 10pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.3°C and the minimum temperature was 12.1°C.
This day last year we had a lovely start to the day with mostly clear skies getting a little cloudier as the day progressed. There was a so-so sunset before we had a night sky with a good number of stars and a half moon. The winds and sea stayed calm throughout the day. The maximum temperature was 16.5°C and the minimum was 11.7°C.

Good afternoon from Roda. My late report is due to me going on a long walk with the Wellie Walkers group. We managed 11K steps walking mostly in T-shirts having shed jackets and jumpers due to the heat. The mainland was strikingly clear across the calm sea and there was no wind to speak of. We finished off with a reviving coffee before heading home. Then after a very snatched lunch I headed to Skripero to pick up Shaun to take him shopping at Lidl. The morning stayed lovely and sunny but the clouds did start to build up, but never hide the sun.
The temperature at 9 am on Wednesday 24thNovember was 12.0°C.
The reported UV for Today is 1-2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday we had a wet and stormy morning with the rain varying from a light drizzle to much heavier spells. We had thunder and lightning off and on throughout the morning, but never being spectacular. It all dried up by just after midday with the wind and sea remaining calm. The sun actually manged to break through the clouds so I went for short walk around the village. The mainland was spectacular again as I walked along the beach front. All the beauty was the pink tinged mountains opposite with every ridge standing out. The sunset was poor despite such a lovely build up. There were plenty of stars in the evening sky and village lights from across the channel. It was a cool 12°C at 9.30pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 16.7°C and the minimum temperature was 13.5°C.
This day last year we had a lovely almost clear skies with a few streaky things in the morning. There was great visibility, no wind and a calm sea. The clouds increased in the north during the afternoon. The evening was still cloudy but there were enough breaks for some stars to be seen. The maximum temperature was 16.0°C and the minimum was 9.0°C.

It had been a very mixed bag but dry so far today. I opened the curtains to a cloudy but bright day with a strange little rainbow to the west. We had had no rain, but must presume the west had had some. We had dark threating clouds everywhere except to the west which had cleared to give us fluffy white clouds acres of blue and a setting moon. The sun is breaking through it all at times and it really doesn’t feel cold. We do have quite a breeze though and there are white horses far out in the channel though a bit calmer inshore. We have been forecast 9 days of rain though starting tonight.
The temperature at 10 am on Thursday 25th November was 15.1°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday we had a lovely morning with plenty of sunshine and pleasantly warm for our wellie walker tramp around Sidari. It did start to get very cloudy in the early afternoon giving us some dull spells by the end of it. I was remarking to my friend that it was lovely still walking around in light, almost summer clothes, almost at the end of November. The mainland was stunningly clear across the calm channel. The ridges and valley all turning varying shades of pink as the sun was setting. The sunset itself was a little brooding with the grey low-level clouds adding to the atmosphere. The night sky was still cloudy but there were gaps for some stars. It was a fairly mild night at 13.5°C at 10pm.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 16.7°C and the minimum temperature was 10.6°C.
This day last year was sunny with almost cloudless skies, almost no wind and a calm sea. It was a chilly night though, with a half-moon and lots of stars. A chilly 11°C at 10pm. The maximum temperature was 16.6°C and the minimum was 8.3°C.

Good morning from Roda. What a wild night we had. Strong winds blowing trees over across the island and battering my south facing balcony. I had to go out at 3 in the morning to secure my gardening cupboard and the balcony furniture. The wind later shifted and dawn saw the furniture on the north balcony being battered. Luckily there doesn’t seem to be anything lost or damage. The garden is water logged with large area of standing water and the ditches on both sides of the garden full to capacity. The rain and wind have eased and we are dry at the moment, but we have threatening clouds circling around the few blue patches of sky. It did get bright for a while but back to being dull with the sun hidden. The sea is very calm here, but only the closed sided ferries are running today from the port. Albania is being lost in the haze, it was slightly clearer earlier on. We are due to have more rain during the day.
The temperature at 10 am on Friday 26th November was 14.3°C.
The reported UV for Today is 1 (Range 1- 11+). UK range 1- 8 The UV Index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around and around the summer solstice).
Yesterday was a bit of a cloudy day but dry, though rain had been forecast. We did have a decent amount of sunshine despite the number of clouds around, but the clouds did win in the end and the day ended with a complete covering. Sunset could only be guessed at by the slight peach flush on a few of the western clouds. It was however quite a clear day in that we had good view of the mainland, sometimes bathed in patches of sunshine that gave a different profile. The wind and sea remained calm all day, and the evening saw plenty of lights from the mainland. It was a very mild evening with the late-night temperature nearly 16°C.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.3°C and the minimum temperature was 11.8°C.
This day last year was a cool with clear skies and plenty of sunshine after a cold night. There was still no wind and the sea was calm. There were plenty of stars and an almost full moon in the evening, it was a chill 10°C at 10pm. The maximum temperature was 14.6°C and the minimum was 7.7°C.

Good morning from Roda. It was a peaceful night no storms to disturb my sleep, in fact it was a very mild one for this time of year with the temperature only dropping to around 15°C. I awoke to a cloudy sky with no breaks at all. It was also quite breezy with the mainland only appearing as a block of solid colour across a choppy sea. We are due to get rain by this afternoon, and it is already raining in Skripero as reported by my friend Shaun who lives there. We do have a small break in the rain with Wednesday due to be bright and sunny amidst a week of persistent rain.
The temperature at 10 am on Saturday 27th November was 16.6°C.

Yesterday after the very wet and wild night we had a surprisingly dry day. Rain was forecast but it forgot to make an appearance. Stormy looking clouds around the blue patches failed to do anything and morphed into towering, billowing giants. We had a lot of sunshine in the afternoon as the clouds were decent enough to keep away from them. The clouds turned into these amazing pink-tinged columns clinging to the mountains on the mainland. The actual sunset to the west was a bit of a non-event. There was enough of a breeze to be noticed and we had those floppy waves that fall back on themselves. Walking back from the village in the early evening we had a good showing of lights from across the water. It all felt very mild, no need to fasten up my jacket. It was still a mild 14.5°C at 10.15pm. There were amazing clouds to the north as the sun set in the west.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 17.8°C and the minimum temperature was 13.3°C.
This day last year the good weather was continuing with clear skies, sunshine calm seas and the merest of winds. No clouds either at night to hide the full moon and the stars. The maximum temperature was 14.6°C and the minimum was 6.9°C.
