So sorry for the lack of posts but i have apparently got a slipped disc which is extremely painful but has put me flat on my back. I am seeing a doctor and getting tramadol injections so hope to be able to sit, which is impossible at the moment. The last three days have been lovely and sunny with gentle winds and calm sea. The daytime max had been around 16C with the min around 8C.

Doctor says I have to stay flat on back for week to 10 days. Think I'd take constipation over this. So another short report. It was a cold night and we had clear blue skies and good clear views of the mainland. No breeze and a calm sea. Yesterday was another lovely sunny day, cool in the shade but hot in the sun. The sunsets and dawns at the moment are lovely. We had a clear moonlit night with a few clouds and stars. It's about 8C in the morning and 16C during the day.

Good afternoon from Roda. The lovely weather continues with dawn to dusk practically clear skies. This morning was no exception with clear skies after a cold night with only a gentle wind and a calm sea. There wad a very slight haze when looking towards the mainland. Yesterday stayed lovely all day calm still and abundant sunshine. The standard monochromatic sunset gave us a clear evening with waxing moon and plenty of stars. It was a chilly 20C at 10.30pm.
The temperature at 10 am on Friday 27th November was 11C. The maximum temperature yesterday was 14.6C and the minimum 7.7C. The UV level is 2 (range 1-11)

Good afternoon from Roda. It was another cool night and apparently an amazing dawn , which I slept through. There was quite a lot of cloud around but still plenty of sunshine. There still wasn't much of a breeze and the sea wad calm. There was just a little haze, particularly towards our hills. The weather is definitely turning.
Yesterday was still glorious with wall to wall sunshine. It stayed that way with just a gentle breeze. The lack of breeze meant it felt very warm in the sun. The non-descript sunset lead onto a calm moonlit night with plenty of stars. It was cool 11C at 10pm.
The temperature at 10 am on Saturday 28th November was 11.2C.
The maximum temperature yesterday was 14.6C and the minimum was 6.9C.

Good afternoon from Roda. We had a cloudy start to the day, after a mild night, but with a distinct brightness to the north over the mainland mountains. We did have dark clouds over our mountains giving a spatter of rain drops. It was very windy but the sea stayed ruffled with small waves coming ashore. It was reasonably clear despite the 100% cloud cover.
Yesterday started off with quite a bit of cloud, and the wind stayed gentle and the sea calm. The slight haze continued added to by the smoke from the bonfires. They seemed to be bigger, probably in anticipation of the rain today. As the day progressed the clouds increased to cover the entire sky. When I went out late in the evening to lock up we had an almost full moon and a good amount of clear patches, enough for a few stars to show. It was still calm and a cool 11C at 10.30pm.
The temperature at 10am on Sunday 29th November was 15.2C.
The maximum temperature yesterday was 14.6C and the minimum wad 7.9C.

We had a very mild night and woke to almost clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds. It was very clear across a quite ruffled sea. As the morning progressed the wind steadily increased and the sea got more choppy.
Yesterday started off dry and very cloudy with dark clouds down the mountain tops giving spots if rain in the higher villages. By lunchtime we had drizzle down by the coast and it wad quite windy. Later on the wind dropped and the rain started very heavy at times. During the evening the wind dropped and the clouds broke, so by bedtime we had quite good breaks for the moon snd a few stars to shine, but it wad still spitting with rain. It was a mild 14C at 10pm.
The temperature at 10am on Monday 30th November was 15.2C.
The maximum temperature yesterday was 16C and the minimum 12C.

Good afternoon from Roda. Kalo mena for the last time in 2020, hope everyone had a good month. It was a colder night but I awoke to blue skies with a scattering if clouds. There was a degree of haze across the calm sea with waves that barely whispered as they hit the shore. The winds of yesterday were replaced by a gentle breeze.
Yesterday after quite a cloud free morning we saw an increase in them as the wind increased. The afternoon saw everything reverse with the wind dying away snd all the clouds disappearing over the horizon. The sunset wad a bit of a fuzzy hazy one, just a gentle flush in the sky. We had a clear night sky for the full moon and stars. It was 12. 5C at 10.30pm.

Good afternoon from Roda. After a mild night I got up to a mostly cloudy sky with sun tipped clouds. It was quite windy and it wad increasingly so. There were dark threatening clouds behind me giving rain to the higher villages. The sea was ruffled and a deep petrol blue/green. The cloudy murk came a long way down the mountains. We got a lovely full rainbow between Roda and Albania.
Yesterday was a lovely day, starting with a smattering of clouds which were added to as the day got older. There was never more than a gentle breeze and a calm sea. I missed the sunset but it must have been just OK with a gentle flushing of the clouds. The evening saw a few more clouds to gather to hide some of the stars. It was a cool 11 C at 10.30pm.
The temperature at 10am on Wednesday 2nd December was 13.3C.

Good afternoon from a very wet Roda. The forecast rain came with a vengeance twinned with a strong southerly wind. The ditches are the building are full and there is lots of standing water. Had a quick look out of my door which is south facing and quickly shut it again! The clouds and murk are well down the mountain sides.
Yesterday was a bit of a mixed bag weather-wise, an interesting one. We had dark threatening clouds, multiple rainbows, at least two full ones seen between Roda and the mainland. The wind became quite strong throughout the day. Corfu town and the mountain villages had a very wet day, whilst here at Roda all we git was a few spits and spots. The clouds even broke in late afternoon to give a few blue patches and later a very moody looking sunset. The evening was still very windy with some clear patches in the sky for some stars. It was a mild 15C at 10.30pm.
The temperature at 10am on Thursday 3rd November was 14.5C.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was 15.4C and the minimum was 9.5C.

Good afternoon from Roda. What a lot of weather we have had. During the night wr had very strong winds and torrential rain with the addition of thunder and lightning. I woke up to strong southerly winds and a ruffled sea. We had a mix of clouds and clear blue patches with sunny areas on the Albanian mountain sides. That didn't last long and we were back to1 howling winds and torrential rain.

Good afternoon from Roda. It was a rather windy and cloudy start to the day although there were plenty of patches of blue. The main land was nice and clear, but quite dark with a capping of clouds. The sea between us was a lovely shade of deep peacock blue/green and remsining ruffled. As the morning wore on the clouds slowly melted away but the wind stayed with us. Very warm in the sun out of the wind.
Yesterday after such a horrible morning of torrential rain and strong winds we had the rain stop by early afternoon and the clouds gradually disperse with the winds easing. There were enough clouds left to give a very pretty sunset. The evening sky had a scattering of stars and the wind almost died away completely. It was a mild 13C at 10pm.
The temperature at 10am on Thursday 5th December was 15.4C.
The maximum temperature yesterday was 15.3C and the minimum 12.5C.

Good afternoon from Roda. I caught the tail end of a very pretty dawn after a mild night. The wind though was howling round the south balcony. The sea wad an amazing deep peacock green, slightly ruffled surface with a cargo ship sheltering in the channel. Albania was nice and clear with a light cap of clouds. The wind itself is quite warm so I quickly did a couple of loads of washing. Hope it stays on the line and not end up in Albania.
Yesterday the morning clouds gradually dwindled, but the wind was persistent all day, sometimes extremely strong, though today is much wilder. Even though there were still some clouds around at sunset it was a subdued event. The evening sky had a scattering of stars and a late rising moon. It was a mild 15C at 10pm.
The temperature at 10am on Sunday 6th December was 17C.
Yesterday's maximum temperature was 17C and the minimum was 13.3C.

Good afternoon from Roda. We had a stormy night with high winds, torrential rain and thunder and lightning. By morning when I opened the curtains the wind had gone and wr had a stormy looking sky with quite a nice patch of blue. That was just to tease us as it wasn't long before the clouds came down the mountains and the rain started. We had a couple of spells if rain before the clouds started breaking up. It looked like the blue was winning. The sea had calmed down with just a gentle murmur. Albania which had been missing on the horizon started to become clearer.
Yesterday was a day of two halves. The morning was very sunny but with extremely strong winds which were were warm. By mid-afternoon the clouds quickly covered the sky and it wad spitting with rain ny 4.30pm. It didn't amount to much though and the day stayed warm but cloudy. The evening did see some breaks in those clouds to give us a glimpse of a few stars. It was very warm at bed time with the temperature 18C!
The temperature at 10am on Monday 7th December was 14.0C.

Good afternoon from Roda. First time back on the laptop for two weeks! My back is slowly improving. Apparently, I managed to sleep through a thunder storm during the night! Morning brought a sky with plenty of blue areas and the sun shining, but there were rather a lot of clouds around, some of them dark and threatening. There a slight breeze and a calm but ruffled sea, barely able to hear any waves coming ashore. Those clouds increased to give us a short sharp shower by around 11am, which apparently fell as hail up in the mountains.
Yesterday, after the torrential rain during the night saw a dry start to the day, but the rain wasn’t finished with us and we had a couple of showers before noon, when the clouds descended down the mountains and hid them completely from view. The showers didn’t last very long thankfully as the ground is saturated and the ditches around the house full. The strong winds during the night were gone thankfully. The afternoon saw the clouds gradually going giving plenty of sunshine but leaving a few very large lumpy ones behind. Albania was very clear to see across the channel. The evening saw a return of the clouds, so by the time I went to bed the sky was completely covered. It was a cool 12.0°C at 10pm.
The temperature at 10am on Tuesday 8th December was 14.1°C.
Yesterday’s maximum temperature was 18.7°C during the very early morning with the mid-afternoon high of 14.9°C and the minimum was 12.3°C. This day last year was a clear day of wall to wall sunshine with a calm sea and a gentle breeze. The maximum temperature was 17.2°C, and the minimum was 12.1°C.
The reported UV for Today is 2 (Range 1- 11+).
