I have reached our last stop at Aachen in Germany, where we stayed last night. Now my son and I are making a run through France and Belgium to reach the chunnel. If we stay in the van until we hit British soil we don't have to quarantine for Cardiff. By the time I set off for home in Scotland I won't have to quarantine there. I will post photos of my route soon.

Good morning from a sunny Sfakera. There is plenty of cloud hiding Albania and hint of some to the far South West otherwise it is slightly hazy, still and the sun is shining. My washing is out to dry and another load on. Then it is putting away garden furniture and moving some plants and taking down tomatoes (as green for chutney) as we are due rains, heavy during tonight and tomorrow and then some everyday until at least Tuesday. Odd it would have been the Beer Festival this week and it always seems to rain when that is on.
Yesterday after the thunderstorm cleared we had some brief sunny intervals as the clouds moved slowly to the NE. At that time the sky to the West was already clear and blue. After 10am the clouds were mostly confined to over our hills apart from thin wispy layers that didn't affect the sun during the rest of the morning. A light afternoon wind brought in a few passing clouds around 1:30 and the sun was just hazy but it soon cleared to full sun with big fluffy white clouds over our hills and Albania with a very thin layer towards the west. It remained that way until sunset. There was an almost complete set of stars to view last night.
The minimum was 19.2c and the maximum was 27.7c

Good morning from Sfakera. It is damp after another early hours thunderstorm; this time heavy rains, lots of lightning but not so much thunder. It eased when a light wind picked up about 5am. Currently the sun is shining but it is very grey to the NE, East below the rising sun and South east; much lighter and more patches of blue sky to the NW, West. The storm is circling so we are expected to get more storms throughout the day unless the winds shift its direction.
Yesterday morning was mainly sunny with a gusting light wind. There were many clouds around building more from the SW; as they built into the afternoon so the gusting wind got stronger, up to F4-5 at times, but the sun always shone. The wind dropped and the cloud was almost full cover by 5pm when the sun vanished. It was full cover by 7pm and there were faster moving grayer clouds under coming from the SW and the light gusting wind had returned. Approaching midnight lightning could be seen and the odd rumble of distant thunder as the storm began to approach.
The minimum temperature was 19.5v, the maximum was 26.4c.

Good morning from a chilly and grey Sfakera; almost full cloud cover and a few spots of rain. The clouds to the east are orange in colour. There is a light wind and its the coolest morning for a long time.
Yesterday morning we had a few short sunny intervals and a light wind. Early afternoon still some sun but black clouds were over Ericoussa. The wind picked up just after 1pm and there was a lone lightning flash and rumble of thunder. A shower followed getting heavy but it was short lived (about 15 minutes). Again a few short sunny intervals before another very heavy short shower at 3:16pm. More sun but gusty winds. At about 4:50 the A2 super yacht passed Agnos heading Sidari way. Slowly it cleared a bit and the gusty wind dropped and we had sun from about 6pm until near 7pm. There were just a few sunny intervals thereafter as the cloud cover increased and the wind picked up again. It stayed a light wind all night. Initially it was part starlit but the clouds were always there, big and dark grey.
The minimum temperature was 21.8c and the maximum was just 23.9c.

Good morning from a wet and windy Sfakera. Several hours of heavy rain during the early hours accompanied by a gusting wind. at dawn it was still windy and very grey all around but clear overhead. This will change quickly due to the winds and an unsettled day is expected.
Yesterdaymorning cleared sufficiently for us to have plenty of sun with a light wind.Big fluffy clouds were always passing around. It stayed this way until about 4pm when the clouds began to dominate and the sunny periods reduced. There was a short 5 minute shower at around 5:15pm; it quickly passed and the sun was out by 5:45 and the wind had eased. Several sunny intervals and a longer period after 7:10 until the sunset a little early but always grey clouds around. AFternightfall we had a partial starlit night; a light gusting wind but the storm clouds were gathering.
The minimum temperature was 17.6c and the maximum was 23.9c.

Good afternoon from Sfakera; I am back online now. This morning is a light gusty wind and plenty of sunshine. There are passing fluffy clouds. We are told to expect unusually high temperatures from Saturday to Tuesday of around 35c in central Greece and a bit less here.
Monday after the early hours rains we had a sunny intervals with lots of clouds passing, mostly grey. At around 3pm we had a light shower which was very short and soon cleared to sun. It was mainly sunny thereafter and the cloud was much thinner and higher. It was a mainly starlit night with a bright moon. The minimum temperature was 19.7c and the maximum was 26.2c.
Yesterday there was a shower in the early hours. At dawn there was plenty grey cloud around but some blue sky above. Albania was hidden by black cloud cover. Just after 8am there was a very heavy shower which in Acharavi started as hailstones. It did ease by 8:45 and there was some sun by 9am. For the morning there were several short light showers. The afternoon was mainly sunny but with a light wind. There was a starlit night but there were always some clouds passing.

Good morning from Sfakera. It is a fresh start to the day; almost totally cloudless, just a thin layer to the west and a couple small clouds over Albania. The air is damp with a heavy dew but still and the sun is rising. Just 16c at 8am.
Yesterday the clouds slowly moved away during the morning after a light gusty wind picked up. This wind gradually got a bit stronger and the umbrellas were fluttering along the beach. There were a few white tops to be seen and small waves breaking on the sand but the sun was shining. It was chilly if you were sat in the wind but lovely if sat in the shade. After sunset were had a lovely starlit night with a near full moon.
The minimum temperature was 17c and the maximum was 23.8c

Good morning from Sfakera. We have just heard the first distant rumbles of thunder as the sky from the West round to the South is a deep grey with a white fluffy top. It is also grey to the NE but it is currently clearer above. The air is still and it is mild but the clouds will probably come over before the sun rises high enough.
Yesterday morning there was sun as the clouds slowly cleared with a light wind. The early afternoon was sunny but by 3pm there was a little shade as clouds passed aided by a gentle breeze. It again cleared to mostly sun with plenty of high grey clods over Albania ad too the SW. It was a mainly starlit night with the waning moon also evident.
The minimum was 15.9c and the maximum was 24.9c.

Good morning from Sfakera. The moon is still high in the Western sky. Thin layers of cloud were pink early then white and now changed to fluffy with grey underbellies.; small in size though. The sun is rising from the East and will soon burn the cloud away.
Yesterday the cloudy start threatened rain and there was a distant thunder rumble before light gusty winds picked up after 8am. Slowly the clouds cleared a good amount and there was a hint of sun by 10am but new bank of grey showing in the SW.The winds slowly increased and the sun was more evident after 10:30am and gradually it almost cleared to full sun. Bye 2:15pm the clouds from the SW had rolled in and we had a shady spell with gusts of wind at F4-5. Around 4:45 the cloud began to clear and the sun returned and the wind eased but never went away. The sun remained until a bright orange sunset. There followed a starlit night with the moon not appearing until very late.
The minimum was 18.5c and the maximum was 26.2c.

Good morning from a grey cloudy and rather windy Sfakera. There were high winds all night from the SW, warm but gusting to F6 at times. Things were moving around the garden in the wind. Dawn revealed it was a mild 23.6c and full cloud, grey but high and still gusting though not as strong.
Yesterday the clouds slowly cleared to a sunny but windy morning; the wind was light. AFternoon there were gusts up to F6 at times. I had walked up to Episkepsi to meet friends and then onwards down to Nymphes for the football. It was ideal walking weather and very pleasant; cyclemen coulouring the verges and olive groves, plenty birdlife around including the odd buzzard sat in the trees sheltering from the winds. It was gone 5pm before the clouds covered the sun but it stayed gusting at F3-4 from the SW. It remained windy thereafter all evening and into the night with full cloud so no stars in view.
Minimum was 20.3c and the maximum was 27.6c.

Good morning from Sfakera; it is rather windy, gusting at F4, and full on cloud. We had a very short shower at 7:45 and I think only the wind is keeping more at bay. The wind is however very warm and it was over 26c at 7:30am.
Yesterday was a day of gusting winds; we had sunny intervals from 10:30 through to midday then mainly cloud with odd short sunny spell. The wind gusted up to F6 at times. During the afternoon we had a few sunny intervals mainly after 5:30pm but full cloud from 6ish. The wind did ease after 7pm but never stopped but it was always a warm wind from the SW so the sea was not too choppy. There were very grey clouds around at nightfall but it remained a dry day though sometimes you could feel moisture in the wind.
The minimum was 23.3c, the maximum was 28.9c.

Good morning froma grey and damp Sfakera; overnight light showers and full grey cloud cover met us at dawn. AFter 9 there was a short sunny interval before clouds cover over again. It remains that way but the winds have gone and the air is damp and still; it is mild.
Yesterday we had short light showers at 7:45 and 8:10am. It then cleared from the SW, S and E to give us long sunny periods during the morning. It was always windy, gusty with some gusts as strong as F5-6 but mostly F3-4. The stronger gusts were mainly after midday but they were always warm and we had the odd sunny interval. After 5pm the winds eased a little but full cloud. It remained gusting at F3 all evening and into the night.
The minimum was 26.2c and the maximum was 28.5c

Good morning from a chilly and very damp Sfakera. There is a very heavy dew and a damp smell to the almost still air. Plenty of storm laden clouds are passing to the West and North and there are lesser grey clouds following from the SW but it is clearer to the East so hopefully some morning sun will come. Just 18c at 7:30am.
Yesterday was a grey still day. Full of slow moving cloud we had just a few glimpses of sun during the morning. AFter 1pm the cloud from the SW was much darker grey and there was briefly a gentle breeze. Again a couple of brief glimpses of the sun in the mid afternoon but you could always feel the dampness in the air even though it didn't rain.
The minimum was 20.1c and the maximum was just 23.1c.
