I have got a few, Debbie, but not yet up to date with the computer. Nothing much happened today, but then there was a national strike in Greece - maybe everyone had a day off!

... and so it continues. These pics were taken a few days ago and things have progressed since. Yesterday, the pipes you can see outside of Mistral & Holiday Wash were being covered and leveled. Soon, Alfa supermarket will be demolished and the two sections of pipe, from Roda Barbeque to La Madera. will be joined up. Vibe seems to be the only premises not to respond by removing their veranda areas - what will happen, remains to be seen. Already, the potential of what is happening is showing through and many of the frontages will be smarter than before. They may be losing some space, but they will certainly look more inviting.

I guess it must be the alpha mini-market.

I know these are improvements and will eventually make things better in Roda (will we be able to flush Loo paper???) but these pictures do make me sad

Oooohhh it makes me want to cry.......I can't begin to count the times I have been in Alfa over the last 22 years.....but never, no more. Time marches on, along with progress, but I feel so sad that Roda is losing so much of it's original character that we all fell in love with........ Thankfully it's "Characters" will still be there......but it will never be the same............ sob, sob, sob
