I thought this thread was for updates on the work being undertaken from the people in the village. I'm sure when there is some new interesting updates and photos (hint hint lol) from steve and julie on here to comment on those of us that love Roda warts an all will comment.

To Kathwebber----i am not hiding behind the name guest--if i registered--like the majority i would not use my full correct name. The point i was making re reregistering their cars is a valid point.Years ago the customs use to confiscate foreign cars that had outstayed the permitted time. The flaunting of this law is costing the Greek government, apart from the fact that they will not be paying the Greek road tax and probably not insured.Don't get me wrong i love Greece and Corfu and first came to Roda in 1978 and lived there for many happy years.I don't want to register as i see that any negative comments although constuctive are seen as derisory.

There's no need to verbally attack Kaz, when all she said was 'Oh dear!' Just looks like all your here to do is *****. And usually I wouldn't waste my time or breath on someone like you, but how dare you come on here & tell someone to grow up, when you know nothing about them. I won't be posting another reply to this 'guest' & I suggest all regular members of this forum, do the same. Just ignore it & it might go away. Editted by Admin

No new photos today, Debbie - weather permitting, the work is steaming ahead and the first task of laying storm water drains along the length of the road is well under way. It would seem as though the plan is also to continue the pavement from outside of the Silver Beach Hotel and link up with where it begins again opposite Roda Barbeque. Alfa supermarket is now more of an island than it ever was and lots of modern racking was being fitted in his new shop yesterday. i would expect him to relocate soon before the drains can be finished. One question has been raised and that is how will properties linking to the new drainage scheme get their outlets passed the rainwater pipes? More photos when we can.
Steve

This is the first time we have commented about this, but the tone of the exchange is deteriorating and now bears no connection to the original thread. Everyone has the option of signing in as a guest if they so wish, while continuing to make postings on other issues under their user name. Unlike the Agni website, we try very hard not to censor anything - this thread would have been closed long ago by them. It is now almost three weeks and the only edit we made was one aimed at the 'guest' by another member of the forum. The comments posted by other members have all been made of their own free will and reflect their feelings at the time. If there is some way of making the forum more open, then please tell us.
