dead right guest, guest. people may know him better as the "deaf and dumb" fisherman who usally fished near the river at the side of Makris hotel ,he had problems and now struggles to walk .one of the dwindling band of characters in roda.if my memory serves me i think harbour was one of the original sunbed suppliers if not the first ,now it resembles the costa,s beaches but not the resorts [before anyone jumps on me ]

One advantage of increased competition is that the cost of sunbeds has now come down. All sunbed operators used to be licensed and they had to bid for their pitches at the start of each season. I think they were allowed three months in which to pay the local council. As I understand it, no one has been charged for sunbed pitches for the last two seasons which has resulted in more people placing beds on the beach. I would think that the laws of supply & demand will prevail in the long term.

Yeah, I'm always a bit wary about people who hide behind the 'guest' facade....

Fair criticism is always welcome "guest", as one of the forum administrators I was the first to complain about the extra sunbeds on the beach. There are two things that puzzle me about your reply, 1 - why the need to hide behind the "guest" label ? 2 - if Roda is so tacky & full of seedy bars, why the hell are you wasting your time looking at a website about Roda? I can only imagine that your life is very boring and you have nothing better to do than to troll the internet day & night searching for things you dislike - just my opinion as they say. pete.

Best to ignore them Pete, as they are only in it for the attention it brings... Trolling a holiday forum, big kudos there LOL

You administrators have the delete button. These people are only out to cause arguments amongst the members, and silently slip away whilst it happens. I have seen on many of the Proboard forums where I am an Administrator/Moderator.
Trolls, each and everyone of them.

That's the thing about Trolls, they never show their true identities.
Can you tell me 'guest'? What bars in Roda are seedy? Means I can avoid them the next time i'm there.

"critique of your tacky resort and its seedy bars"
Think this is what people are taking offence at "GUEST". Having been to many "tacky" and "seedy" resorts in my younger days ie Magalluf, Las Americas, Malia etc and also, in my defence, some really lovely places over the years such as Aruba, Curacao, Jamaica I would still rate Roda as one of the most picturesque, enjoyable and friendly resorts out there which is why I chose to holiday in Roda for many years and returned this year and fell under the village's charms again and am planning to return next year - nothing "tacky" about Roda in my humble opinion!!!
