Just noticed that Easyjet have now got next years flighta availiable for booking, i've only looked at 7th june from Manchester - £156 per person - this is nearly double what we have paid for this year's flight for what i personnally consider poor flying times - taking off at 17.10hrs Viking airways have also got next years dates - £195 per person from Manchester taking off at 05.40 hrs. Purely a personal decision but unless the Easyjet prices come down i'll be booking Viking. pete.

EasyJet schedules for Manchester & Bristol, for May & June only, were published a couple of weeks ago. As is usual, the first blocks of seats are sold at the lowest prices and many dates may now be fully subscribed pushing prices upwards. We know of one couple who have booked £270 return for two in June.
What happens after June remains to be seen, and Gatwick schedules have yet to appear.

Jet2.com have today announced their summer schedules for 2010 from Leeds Bradford Airport as the airline revealed its busiest month since it started flying over six years ago. One of their three new routes will be to Corfu, and tickets are on sale now for flights starting in May 2010.
Anyone care to check out the deals?

Thomsonfly (Flights Only) and First Choice (Packages with Thomsonfly) have announced a new route to Corfu out of Bournemouth commencing in 2010. It will be a Monday flight, with evening departures and early morning arrivals.

Hi ya - how do you actually book a Viking flight - idiot guide please xx From what I heard this year from Viking passengers I would avoid them like the plague. We were talking to one couple who arrived a day late after waiting for hours at Gatwick, to add insult to injury they then made an unscheduled stop at Manchester to pick up more passengers.

It looks as though there will be lots of changes next year and we will try to keep up with them. Anyone who, like Chris, finds out about any new service to Corfu, please let us know as quickly as possible.

That reminds me of my first ever package holiday, Alan. I travelled with friends from north Wales. We caught a coach from Whitchurch to Cheltenham and another from there to London where we had 8 hours to kill. At midnight, we left on another coach to Southend airport for our very first flight. We took off (Danair) and the pilot announced we would have a quick stop in Ostende for refuelling! From there we headed off to Perpignan in southern France and, that's right, another coach to Lloret. General Franco was still in power and the two weeks cost a grand total of £25 per person half board.

Evidently the flights run from May until mid-September, so get booking and let's see if we can't encourage jet2.com to do the full season in 2011.

Just booked 10 days end of May with Easyjet for £226 for two from Manchester - inclusive of taxes and 2 bags in hold. Paid for now, so gives us 7 months to worry about minor details like getting from here to UK, connections to airports, overnight stays - you name it, we will fuss and fret about it after Christmas - flight price was too good to ignore. Not bad flying times either.

Just booked three flights from Leeds Bradford with Jet2.com flying out on 5th July 2010 - £240 in total. Just got to get the return flights in August but, as we paid over £900 this year for three return flights from Manchester, I think we will still be making a big saving!

That's great news Amanda - I have no idea what jet2.com's pricing policy is, but let's hope these deals continue. If anyone is at all in doubt, commit to 2010 and book now - it could save you a fortune and, in some cases, make the difference between coming to Roda or not.

We only got back from Roda at 1.30am this morning Steve so I had to find some way of cheering ourselves up! We had already checked with Spiros Banos that the apartment was available so it was too good a chance to miss....Also we live in Leeds so there will be a big saving on the taxi to the airport, and a better luggage allowance which is a major advantage when you plan on staying for 5 weeks!
