You're packing a lot in to your few days in Roda, Dave - just sorry we're not there to spend some time with you. Will you be back next year - with Paula!?

Good morning from Sfakera where it feels chilly but it is a fine start to the day. Cloudless, a sea mist and the gentlest of breezes. 16.5c at 8.30am.
Yesterday was glorious, sunny all day with a very light breeze. Ideal for walking and enjoying seeing the masses of little pink cyclemen on the verges, in the olive groves. Roses are also flowering well at this time. Others were enjoying time on the beach, still a good number having a swim as the sea is still warm. The sunset was a bright yellow and orange ball, no clouds around to give any special sky. Within 20 minutes it is almost dark and we were again treated to a very clear starlit evening and night. There was a nip in the evening air so a jumper or jacket is now needed.
The maximum temperature was 25.1c, the minimum was 17.1c.

Good morning from Sfakera, a chilly start to the day, just 15.9c at 8am. There is a dew but the air is still, the sky cloudless with a heavy sea mist. There is a noticeable increase in birdsong from the smaller migrating birds arriving.
Yesterday was another lovely sunny day, few high clouds, vapour trails from planes grew wider and fell lower giving stripes to the sky. Just a very light wind, but it did make it cool if out of the sunlight. A yellow sunset was briefly enjoyed before the stars came, there were a few small patches of cloud around.
The maximum temperature was 24.1c, the minimum was 16.3c.

Good morning from Sfakera, again a chilly feel to the start of the day, no breeze at all, hardly a cloud to see, sea mist and the rising sun. Just 16c at 9am.
Yesterday was again a lovely sunny day but always a chill to the air if you were out of the sun. A few clouds now and again. A morning walk to Acharavi was most pleasant as was the return along the beach. Very few people out on the Acharavi side of Roda, the beach empty, a couple swimming and a few out for a walk. The sea flat and just ripples breaking on the shore, the sound of music from a pool bar otherwise very quiet. There were more on the beach at Roda but it is much quieter now, only a handful having breakfast outside a Pirates. A pleasant day but the temperature didn't rise as much as expected, the sunset deep yellow was followed by a starlit night. These early nights have one thing very noticeable, the absence of the moon.
The maximum temperature was 23.8c, the minimum was 15.8c.

Good morning from Sfakera. Forecast told us to expect full cloud cover today, wake to a cloudless sky! Chillier, just 15.3c at 8am, still, less sea mist and the sun slowly rising, just reaching the village at 9am.
Yesterday started off sunny but the cool air meant the temperature rose slower than usual but it was very pleasant in the sun. High clouds began to appear in the afternoon and we had long shady intervals. A poor sunset by Corfu standards but we could see the crescent moon in SW, not so many stars visible but more as the night progressed and clouds cleared. After nightfall it did feel chilly but there was little breeze all day.
The maximum temperature was 23.2c, the minimum was 15.8c.

Good morning from Sfakera where it feels rather chilly, it was gone 7.30am before it started to get light. Here is high thin white cloud around, especially over the sea, less sea mist than recently and the cold air is very still. My washing out but will not start to dry till the sun rises, it is gust appearing at Agnos so be here in 30 minutes or so. At 8am it was just 15.3 ( here the colest part of any day is usually half hour before sunrise! ).
Yesterday we had a nice sunny morning but clouds began to appear, at first large single fluffy clouds in the west, by mid afternoon more of a blanket covering the sun and taking away the sunset, just some colour to the clouds low in the west. It was dark by 7.30pm, we could see the moon, it had a haxy circle of light around it due to the thin misty clouds passing. The stars incressed in number as the night went on and the clouds moved away. A day of little or no breeze, pleasant but always feeling cool if out of the sun.
The maximum temperature was 23.3c, the minimum was 15.2c.

Good morning from Sfakera where the sun is rising, the air is still but there are many high thin clouds about to NW. Not the chilly feel today.
Yesterday was a lovely sunny day with just the odd large fluffy clouds about. Early on the beach there were a good number on the sunloungers and plenty taking breakfast. A gentle breeze, a flat sea made it ideal. A grey heron flew along sea shore, about 10 feet from ground, from Afrodite end finally landing by the harbour bridge where it started to fish in the shallows. There was a nice sunset followed by a starlit night with a few clouds coming in as midnight approached.
The maximum temperature was 25.1c, the minimum was 15.3c.

The forecast for the next 10 days shows this nce weather continuing, plenty sun, passing clouds, only possibility of isolated shower, temperature in region 72 to 77f (22 -25c). Very nice for this time of year. Ideal for tourists on beach or walking, perfect for locals laying out olive nets.

Good morning from Sfakera where each day is becoming the same as the previous, with similar temperatures. We are loving it while it lasts as one day we know the rains will come and batter us!
This morning is lovely, fresh still air, clear but a sea mist towards Albania, some wispy clouds around and the sun shining and just arriving in my garden. The sea still pancake flat. 16c at 9am.
Yesterday was almost identical to Tuesday, wall to wall sunshine, the odd fluffy cloud appearing, sometimes large, but then breaking up and vanishing as you watch. The sea flat, the breeze very light so again the beach was popular amoung the tourists. Plenty out on quads and walking enjoying the day. The sunset a bright deep yellow ball giving a lighter yellow sky was nice to watch. The moon is almost half now and bright in the starlit sky. As i walked home at 11.45pm there was a shiny circle around the moon,, either due to thin cloud or mist but it gave it a very attractive look. The owls were screaching, bats were flying, the odd dog barking making for a nice October night in the village.
The maximum temperature was 24.2c, the minimum was 16.3c.
