Good morning from Roda. We have another beautiful day, clear blue skies, no clouds and warm sunshine. There is practically no wind so the heat haze persists. The nights and early mornings are definitely getting cooler though with the temperature at midnight and at 9.30 this morning a cool 21.6°C. So the feeling of a season about to change persists. It is quite strange how it feels autumnal with high daytime temperatures. Yesterday was beautiful, more or less the same as the previous day. Hot enough for the sun worshippers chasing that tan and cool enough to stroll around sightseeing or shopping. There was the usual pretty sunset and the clear night skies. But you do need an extra layer on late evening to combat that gentle breeze. We are beginning to see wet grass now when we go out in the evening, a sure sign it is cooling.
Today's readings at 10am on 15th September are:- Temperature 23.1°C (real feel 24°C) and humidity 67% (dew point a nice 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 27.0°C and the minimum was 18.6°C, the maximum humidity was 70% and the minimum 60% The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) Still important to use that sunscreen, the UV even now is higher than it usually gets back in the UK.

Good morning from Roda. It is a beautiful start to the day. We have blue skies, no clouds, warm sunshine and a complete absence of any wind, hence no reduction in the heat haze. It is going to be glorious today. The great weather has settled with us for the rest of the week we are told. Yesterday was a perfect September day, hot, sunny and no wind. The sunset was pretty again, no dramatic colours, just pretty, leading into a very pleasant evening which did incline to get a bit chilly towards midnight.
Today's readings at 10am on 16th. September are:- Temperature 23.7°C (Real feel 24°C) and humidity 72% (dew point a comfy 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 27.1°C and the minimum was 18.6°C, the maximum humidity was 72% and the minimum 64% The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) we may be in the second half of September but that sun screen still needs to be applied. Don't ruin your holiday by stinting on it.

Good morning from Roda. And so the lovely September late summer weather continues. We awoke to blue skies, no clouds no wind. A stillness and a calmness prevailed, at times no sounds could be heard, no birds nor traffic nor planes and certainly no seas. The temperature was just right for standing and soaking in the beautiful day, not to mention the lovely views we are so lucky to have. Albania was helping by just being a very misty soft gray on the horizon behind a flat calm blue sea. Yesterday was more of the same vein, a lovely day drifted through the pleasant sunset into a starlit night with an orange waxing crescent moon just visible over the horizon at 8 o'clock. It was a milder evening than recently. Late afternoon the temperature was 27.4°C, real feel 30°C, but the dew point of 23°C made it feel warm and slightly muggy but not too uncomfortable.
Today's readings at 10am on 17th September are:- Temperature 24.0°C, real feel 25°C, and humidity 74% giving a dew point of 19°C, comfortable. Yesterday's maximum temperature was 27.4°C and the minimum was 19.0°C, the maximum humidity was 76% and the minimum 70%. The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11), don't throw that sunscreen away yet it is still needed.

Good morning from Roda. The weather report is earlier as we are having a day out with my sister and her partner. The good weather continues with wall to wall blue skies, sunshine and no breeze to dispel the usual haziness. Yesterday was beautiful all day. Slightly warmer both during the day and continuing on into the evening. Many of the usual September visitors are commenting on how much hotter it is than usual. We are enjoying it while it lasts.
Today's readings at 9.00am on 18th September are:- Temperature 22.6°C (real feel 23°C) and humidity 74% (dew point a comfortable 18°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 28.7°C and the minimum was 20.1°C, the maximum humidity was 76% and the minimum 64% The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) Sunscreen must be applied to stop that awful pink shade we are seeing a lot of .

Good morning from Roda. And so the good weather continues. We awoke to blue skies, sunshine, no could no wind, calm and peaceful. Yesterday was more like a day in the height of summer, it was scorchio! The temperature in Corfu Town was in the low thirties, but we had high humidity as we that made it very close. The temperature here at Roda on our return was 29°C at 7pm, with a humidity of 73%. This gave a real feel of 34°C and a very sticky dew point of 24°C. At 11.30pm it was still 24°C! on a clear balmy night. So yesterday was hot, sunny, no clouds, no wind, a significant heat haze and a very calm sea. All in all a beautiful day for mid September.
Today's readings at 10am on 20th September are:- Temperature 25.4°C (real feel 27°C) and humidity 76% (dew point a muggy 22°C) The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) Slap on that sunscreen it is very hot out there.

Good morning from Roda. We have a change in the weather, there are clouds gathering on the horizon, a prelude to the storm we are expecting over night. But the sun is still out, it is hot and we have a pleasant breeze, so I'm not complaining yet. It was a warmer night with it getting down to 22°C, and at 9am it had increased to 24.7°C. The humidity stayed in the low eighties, so it was very muggy. Yesterday was another glorious but very hot day as we travelled around the north of the island. Warranting a long swim at St. Spiridon beach and a cooling ice cream at Perithia. The day continued humid into the evening but with the reduction of temperature it all became very pleasant. I know we ladies don't sweat, we glow, but yesterday we were glowing profusely! The night was starlit with gentle winds and a lovely waxing crescent moon, so the reflections along the bay were so pretty.
Today's readings at 10am on 20th September are:- Temperature 26.1°C (real feel 29°C) and humidity 80% (dew point an uncomfortable 22°C)
Yesterday's maximum temperature was 29.3°C and the minimum was 21.7°C, the maximum humidity was 79% and the minimum 67% The reported UV for today is 5 (Range 1- 11) There may be clouds overhead but that sun can still burn, so don't stop using that sunscreen!

Good morning from Roda. Today is starting off very similar to yesterday. We have blue sky, sunshine and white clouds and a gentle breeze. The humidity is still high but the lower temperature has improved the visibility and Albania is standing clear across the sea. Yesterday started off well but degenerated throughout the day getting cloudier until eventually we have a few drops of rain early evening, though it was nothing to write home about. The day felt cooler even though the temperature was in the mid twenties. The clouds were very unusual yesterday, we had a covering of very high grey ones, but topping the mountains was a layer white ones, they looked so white in contrast to the grey ones. Because we had the clouds the sunset was glorious, the sun breaking through at just the right time. The night time was cooler than of late but still 24°C at midnight.
Today's readings at 10am on 22nd. September are:- Temperature 22.9°C (real feel 24°C) and humidity 705 (dew point a very nice 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 26.4°C and the minimum was 20.6°C, the maximum humidity was 77% and the minimum 60% The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) It may be getting towards the end of September but that is no excuse to stop applying that sunscreen.

Good morning from Roda. It is a lovely morning. I awoke to blue skies, lots of warm sunshine and only the odd distant cloud on the horizon. The visibility is good today with Albania really clear across the channel, though our mountains are almost just an outline. Yesterday was one of those perfect September days I remembered from taking my holidays here. It was sunny but with the very occasional cloud coming across the sun once in a while, a slight breeze that cooled hot skin, blue skies, an even bluer sea, Albania very clear across the sea and the views across St. George's bay lovely. It was a so-so sunset, but the evening was mild and clear and 23°C at midnight.
Today's readings at 10am are:- Temperature 23.1°C (real feel 24°C) and humidity 70% (dew point a very comfortable 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 26.5°C and the minimum was 19.4°C, the maximum humidity was 70% and the minimum 54% The reported UV for today is 6 (Range 1- 11) Keep applying that sunscreen, it is still hot out there.

Good morning from Roda. We have quite a cloud covering now, but when I awoke it was almost clear skies and calm. and the visibility is not bad at all. The wind has sprung up rustling the leaves of the poplars across the way, and the clouds are building up all around us.They are reporting a storm later on today. Yesterday was a mixed day, it started off well, but clouded over by mid- day to give a tiny shower of rain ( one or two drops). The clouds looked dark and threatening, but they dumped their rain on poor Ipsos and the afternoon cleared up quite nicely. The clouds stayed away to give a cool but pleasant moon lit evening following the normal sunset.
The readings for 10am on 24th September are:- Temperature 23.4°C (real feel 24°C) and humidity 73% ( dew point a nice 18°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 26.2°C and the minimum was 19.9°C, the maximum humidity was 71% and the minimum 61% The reported UV for today is 4 (Range 1- 11) The level is much lower than recently but still take care especially when the sun is out.

Good morning from Roda. Oh dear, I think this is practically the first morning when I awoke to the sound of a downpour! When I did set foot out of bed the skies around us were a threatening dark grey with black clouds, it is so dark! It has got worse during my cups of tea , now we have thunder rattling around the mountains behind us with thick cloud just about obscuring them. The sea, though, is flat calm and a lovely silvery green colour. It is supposed to start clearing up later on today, let's hope so. Yesterday was a bit of a wash out to say the least, the rain started in the afternoon and we got a good downpour with thunder and lightning. The rain eased off during the evening long enough for me to go into the village for a meal, but lightning was still flickering all around us. It was a bit cooler than of late at 21°C at 10.30pm. I understand the storm lasted during the night, but I slept through it. As I write this it is thundering overhead and chucking it down!!!!
Today's readings at 10am on 25th September are:- Temperature 20.6°C and humidity 80% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 26.3°C and the minimum was 19.5°C, the maximum humidity was 77% and the minimum 54% The reported UV for today is 5 (Range 1- 11), not sure where they get that figure from as the sun has gone on its holidays. However if it does, by some miracle, re-appear you will need that sunscreen.

Good morning from Roda. It is a chilly morning, cloudy, with not much wind and no sign of the sun! The heat haze has gone, but Albania is still not that clear across. The forecast is for it to stay cloudy all day, but as I write it is showing signs of brightening up. Yesterday was not good. It rained heavily all morning, at times it was torrential, and it continued into early afternoon when it dried up by 2.30pm, the sun came out and I could escape the house. The sky was very schizophrenic, to the north it was clear blue skies, to the south it was still horrible clouds. These got progressively darker until we have another minor thunder accompanied shower around 6pm, but I think the rain didn't last that long. In another way the day was strange in that it started off at around 21°C and got down to 18°C! We are hoping for some Indian summer days still to come.
Today's readings at 10am on 26th. September are:- Temperature 19.6°C (real feel 20°C) and humidity 82% (dew point a comfortable 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 25.0°C and the minimum was 18.7°C, the maximum humidity was 80% and the minimum 71% The reported UV for today is 4 (Range 1- 11) The sun is loosing its bite, but if it comes out you will need some sun screen but maybe of a lesser factor.

Good morning from Roda. We have a blue sky, some white clouds on the horizon, except on the west where they look grey and ominous. The forecast for today, though, is for wall to wall sunshine. There is little wind and the visibility is fairly good. It is a little too cool to talk of heat haze, though the feel of the sun on our south balcony is hot. Yesterday was a day of steady improvement, it started out cloudy but calm and gradually throughout the day the cloud disappeared and we got a lovely sunny late afternoon, a good sunset and a clear starlit night. Though, by our standards, it was a bit nippy, so those diners on the beach would have needed something warm to wear.
The readings for today at 10am on 27th September are:- Temperature 20.0°C (real feel 24°C) and humidity 77% (dew point a nice 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 24.1°C and the minimum was 17.4°C, the maximum humidity was 83% and the minimum 68% The reported UV for today is 5 (Range 1- 11) , so keep applying that sunscreen, this is a high reading if back in the UK

Good morning from Roda. We have blue skies, some white clouds and little wind, and the haze is not too bad. You can at least make out some of the details of Albania. Yesterday was a bit mixed, there were lovely long periods of sunshine, but there were some nasty grey clouds around that gave rain to Ericousa and Orthoni, but missed us. The day just got better as it headed towards evening, giving a lovely night with the full moon highlighting the scattered clouds. The heat of summer is over, but it is still very pleasant in the sun.
Today's readings at 10am on 28th September are:- Temperature 21.0°C (real feel 21°C) and humidity 78% (dew point 17°C, nice) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 23.6°C and the minimum was 16.2°C, the maximum humidity was 79% and the minimum 66% The reported UV for today is 5 (Range 1- 11) This is at the top end of the scale back in UK so care is still needed, don't forget the sunscreen.

Good morning from Roda. We have lovely blue skies and nice white fluffy clouds on the horizons. There is barely a breeze, but Albania and our mountains are hazy due to the high humidity. Yesterday was a lovely day, we had lots of sunshine with only a few clouds that occasionally obscured the sun. The afternoon breeze got up to cool things done a bit, but died away in the early evening to give a pleasant sunset and a lovely but cool evening with a full moon shining over us.
Today's readings at 10am on 29th September are:- Temperature 20.8°C (real feel 22°C) and humidity 78% (dew point a nice 17°C) Yesterday's maximum temperature was 24.2°C and the minimum was 17.3°C, the maximum humidity was 81% and the minimum 63% The reported UV for today is 5 (Range 1- 11) This is high for the UK so still apply that sunscreen, it is still going to burn you.
