thanks for the tips - we both like our greek food so i am sure we will find somewhere - its not like you have to rush anywhere when you are on holiday - leisurely stroll the odd drink or two and then dinner!

Hi Gremlindog Glad you enjoyed the tour been going to Roda for over 35 years and do the pc tour at least once a week it keeps the spirit alive. I'm not one for lying in on hols in Roda as each day is precious so I'm usually up at six sit on the balcony at the Afroditi and wait for the sun to come up over Albania and then it's a nice leisurely walk around the triangle and beyond and a couple of detours up little lanes to see what's new from the last walk before heading back for breakfast and then the graft of a bit of sunbathing and a ritual draught Mythos at 10.30 am. Gee it's hard work being on holiday lol

Hi again gremlindog.
I think the image below may be of some use to you?
The distance from your base (Kosmas) to the "Roda Crossroads" is just over 500yards - about a 10min. slow stroll.
Then the distance/time to the beach-front is about the same again.
I've also highlighted the central core of the village, commonly known as the "Roda Triangle" (mentioned by Gil, in his post above) which can be comfortably walked in about half an hour - as long as you don't keep stopping off to visit the numerous bars, shops and tavernas on the way!!!

Hi Chris and Gil
Thanks for the info i am sure it will prove invaluable. Whats a 10-20 minute stroll between friends when you are on holiday? Im sure it wont seem that long when we are doing it, although we will need one maybe two stops just to refresh and most of the times we do it will probably be in the evenings
