Is Kosmas next to a Hotel along that main road? and to get to it do you have to walk a little bit down a lane and go in the side gate?

I would definitely recommend Dromeas for car hire - never had a problem with them and their insurance truly is fully inclusive

Hmmmmm, I thought Villa Popi was further away from the crossroads than Kosmas and where Kaz means is a little closer. I stand to be corrected said the old lady to the chiropodist :-)

I dont think Kaz is referring to Villa Popi - could it perhaps be Roda Oasis?

So is there a good selection of restaurants etc near Kosmas? am really looking forward to being able to have a wander to the beach but being able to stop at any pool for a quick dip and an ice cold mythos!

Kaz is referring to Metallinos Apartments, after Oasis and before Kosmas. The two sons there are Kostas & Adonis, and a great place it is too.

Not really. To get to proper tavernas & restaurants you'll have to walk into the village a bit. You're going to be right on the outskirts of the village.

It will be a lovely walk into the village and you will pass many Tavernas' on the way...we used to walk it when we stayed at the Pegasus...........I have known Kosta & Adonis for many years and they are very nice "boys"

So much depends on what you like to eat .... if it is Italian food, then Pixida, right by the crossroads, is your closest restaurant and it is very good. Nearby, just across from Pixida, is 'O Arabas', a very good Greek restaurant that is mainly patronised by local people. The food there is excellent. After that, it's one of Roda's favourites - Drosia, and that's before you even get into the village centre.

8 stayed up across from the Oasis one year. The walk to the village isn't bad. Used to love the walk down of an evening. During the day in the heat isn't as good.
