One of the reasons Julie and Steve started this website was to put Roda back on the map I think, and when I left Roda after visiting the FGT last year I realised that I had to do something like it in my country .... I tried to leave a link to the Rodaonlinewebsite wherever I could and also started a rodacorfu- hyves (like facebook). And... I think it's slowly starting to pay off; on the Dutch Corfuportal people are starting to ask questions about a stay in Roda , also because they seem to understand that I get the information "firsthand" ,right from the village itself... This week I read a question from Will about a holiday in Roda in low season /june or september: he would like to know if we have information about a small apartment / or studio in a small or private business... for about 25 euros a night. They won't be needing breakfast . Some of you know what is the best place to stay for this budget, could you advice Will ?? Thanx, Petra

We, personally, don't know all of the prices, Petra, although we can advise on locality and facilities etc. Most accommodation owners start off the season with a scale of charges, but everything is negotiable. One of the advantages of travelling independently is that each of us negotiates our own rates which can vary according to supply & demand. 25 euros a night is a bit difficult, but I'm sure that if Will systematically contacts the venues in Roda Pages, together with any others that members might recommend, he should find something that suits.

Hi Petra, when i was looking for accommodation a few weeks ago i e-mailed 5 different apartment owners - all of them replied within a day or so & all of them were willing to negotiate prices. Pete.
