Alexandros Pool, Apartments and Bar are the latest Roda business to join the website. It is amazing just how many people have praised the hospitality and friendliness of Anna & Angelos and thanked them for making their visit to Roda a special one. If you are thinking of booking a holiday in Roda this year, then take a look at: ALEXANDROS APARTMENTS & STUDIOS

The Alexandros are great. Stayed there once b4. And a couple of times, when I stayed in the Grigoris, I spent my time at the pool. In fact the year I came myself, I spent my days there. I knew Anna & Angelos were there, so I knew I'd have friendly faces every day. Then I met lots of new people too.
Great times!

Not long now until I'm back in Roda staying at the wonderful Alexandros Apartments!! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and especially glad that I will be back for Maria's 1st Birthday. I had the great joy of being in Roda when she was born so it's only fair that i'm back again at the same time of year

good location nice people only minus point studios upstairs [ wife disabled ]....john Hello, it's Anna here from Alexandros. Hello John, you are very right. For disabled people the studios are not good but we can give a big apt downstairs with the price of a studio. (This is only for disabled people). Thank you for your lovely comments, hope to see you soon, anna

Hi There Angelos & Anna,
Have just returned from Roda/Alexandros Appartments and my partner and I cannot praise you both enough, it was our first visit to Roda (we have done Sidari, Kavos, Kassiopi) and will be returning here next year, for those looking for a place to stay, here is a brief rundown of our holiday:
Arrived without any accommodation, visited Pipitsa's ............... then settled on the Alexandros as they had a spare Appartment, these were run by a delighfull couple Angelos & Anna, along with baby Maria, they are small but very clean, and more than handy for a couple to rest their heads, after all you only use them to sleep in, a beautifull large pool that was cleaned every day, a Bar/Taverna that served snacks and full blown meals all day long, Angelo's home cooked Keleftico was the best we have ever tasted in the whole of Greece, I suggest you visit and give it a try, as it's cooked fresh you will need to order it the day before, also had his excellent B-B-Q chicken one night and plenty of lunchtime snacks.
As we had visited Corfu many times before we had no need to go rushing about sightseeing, so just spent the days lazing round the pool, sunbeds and brollies supplied free, no need to go the the beach and pay for them, at night when not eating at the bar we tried a selection of Tavernas, the best we found was the Roda Park & Drossia, a good selection of proper Greek Food in both of them, and family run.
Roda was very quite, as were most resorts due to the economic climate this year, but we liked that, it suited our type of holiday, Roda seems to be a place that people keep on comming back to year in and year out, we met a couple who have been comming here over 20 years, most of it spent at the Alexandros, we can see why Angelos & Anna attract many repeat customers year in year out, they realy are fantastic hosts, with nothing to much trouble and deserve all the praise they get, we will be returning next Year without fail, many thanks to you both, Wattsie xx
Thanks to the owners/administartors of this great website that we found by chance before we came away, it gave us a good insite of Roda and what to expect before we arrived, keep up the good work

Hi Wattsie, welcome to the forum, very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Alexandros and also that you enjoyed Roda so much that you plan to return next year. Feel free to ask any questions about the village, if myself, Julie or Steve cannot answer them i'm sure one of our very knowledgeable members will be able to. pete.

Hi wattsie - great reviews and we are pleased that because of the website you felt you were able to just turn up in Roda in the knowledge that finding accommodation would be easy and the people helpful. Everybody who is passionate about the village has their own favourite bars, restaurants & accommodations and it is a good job that we all have our own particular preferences. Over the years, some great personal relationships have been built up, much as you did with Anna & Angelos and we welcome your input about your first experience in the village. Please continue to look at and contribute to the forum, even based on just two weeks experience, as new visitors want to hear what you say. Please take a couple of minutes to read through our Terms & Conditions if you feel strongly about something - they are there to help, not to hinder.
Look forward to meeting you, next time maybe.
Steve

Hi wattsie - you can find Terms and Conditions in the Help section of the forum. Over the last few months, one or two postings have been a bit borderline so, in the interests of promoting lively discussion without being offensive, we published a Code of Conduct. This is intended to be helpful rather than obstructive and we thought that a couple of references in your postings might be better left unstated. Hope you understand why.

Steve,
Point taken, It's my first time on a forum, and I thought that I was being truthfull by speaking my mind and was not being offensive, after all that is what a forum is for, to speak your thoughts out in words, by mentioning the words "b*****" and "v*****" I did not think I was overstepping the mark, However, I will learn the ropes and stick to the R&Regs in future, thanks for the tip.
I have not been at work today so I have had time to look at this forum in more detail, and I must say that it is very enlightening, keep up the good work.
Wattsie.
