Fab pictures, corfu really is a beautiful place!
I have been all over the island by car, but these views are breath taking!

Fantastic pictures Alan, unfortunately I won't be having a go as I hate flying. Nikki

I love the shot of Angelokastro, Alan - I've walked up there, and it's spectacular.

Wonderful photo´s Alan!!! I would like to ask for your permission to copy a few of these beautiful photo´s to my dutch "facebook", my hyves about Roda ,(www.rodacorfu.hyves.nl) ? When we came to Kerkyra last summer, the flight was beautiful, because the pilot choose to fly along the beautiful westcoast and turned left at KorissionLake, and then flew back to the north so we could see the eastcoast very close as well. It was not easy to make following photograph because the windows in the aeroplane are small, but guess what is on this photo ;D

Brilliant photographs Alan. This trip is on our "To Do" list for the next time out. With views like that, I cannot wait.
Nikki, can I ask (as I obviously am not aware), do you live on Corfu, or how do you get out there with the fear of flying. Just wondering.

Hi Chris I wish I did live on Corfu then I wouldn't have to fly there every time. If time wasn't a problem I would rather take three or four days to drive there than 3 hours to fly Last year was the first time I'd flown as a non smoker, so with nothing to calm my nerves I'm afraid to say I had to visit the doctor for a bit of help. Still, at least it doesn't stop me from visiting my favourite place. Nikki

I do know how you feel Nikki. We have a friend, she is exactly the same. They go on holiday 3 or 4 times a year, and fly, but a few days before she is at the Doctors or the Pharmacy for the calmer downers.
They are coming on holiday to France in May. Oh dear she says, I have not been on a ferry before, what can I get for sea sickness. Here we go again.
I am planning a drive to Corfu Holiday for 2110/2011. Gone take 3 or 4 weeks, so can leisurely drive down, then still have two weeks or so on Corfu, then drive back. Should be fun.
