In the long run, it must help if easyJet flights to Corfu are well supported and the service can be secured into the future. In the short term however, it is frustrating that, because of their pricing policy, costs can rise at a moment's notice as demand increases. It would seem that travellers to other parts of Greece have found out about easyJet in the absence of flights to other areas. Many are flying into the island's airport, only to hop on a ferry to the mainland and then off to other places.

It really does seem to be a case of "first come , best served" with easy jet, the prices must go up as soon as someone starts to book. pete.

Hi All Easy-jet prices fluctuate by the number of hits the site gets. They normally start off low but after say 20Min's and a lot of hits the price go's up and up.Until they hit a ceiling then they drop back down again. Its a hit and miss process but if your prepared to keep looking eventually you should get a deal your happy with.

As of this month, Aldi the supermarket chain have started their own online Travel site (Aldi Travel). They act on behalf of other Airline and Tour Operators, but from what I can see they are offering good prices. For example, using the dates I have been using for the Easyjet prices, a list was produced, all flying out on the 8th June (Flight Only) for one week, with prices from £177 to £282 per person. Go a few days before, and the prices are down to £130 per person. Check out the website for yourselves at: ALDI TRAVEL - BARGAIN FLIGHTSYeiamas, Chris

Further to the above, the Easyjet price from Bristol departing on 8th June as I have been showing throughout the week now stands at £199.28p (£99.64 per person). This has increased by approximately £34 in a week, (£17 per person). Still very good prices, and hard to beat. I am always intrigued how Easyjet do this. There must be reason. I feel an email coming on.
