Both Jackie and I(us) love this place. Have stayed there several times. We should have been there in September but XL went bust so we were scuppered. The apartments/studios are nice and Makis and his wife are fantastic people.....you will love them. They will do anything they can for you and more. The pool is spotless and cleaned everynight. There is also a snackbar where you can get nice food....

I will agree with Jeanp and jacks that Makis is my favour place to stay in Roda. Makis and all his family will do anything to make your stay a pleasurable one. Jacks I would also say I remember our last night but due to Makis giving me very large measures of Baileys sorry I don't lol.......

You will love the Makis Apartments, the pool is fantastic, and the location is good, across the road from the very friendly Harbour Bar, and just a few mintues walk into the village.
Have a good holiday, wish we were going back this year......

Hi Andy, we stayed at Makis last August. The apartment had a kettle,a small cooker (2 ring with oven), fridge with ice box, plenty of room for bottles of water, milk etc. Makis and family were great. and the pool.

I never use the cooker/oven. lol But there is one, and a kettle & fridge, as Ken said. Usually plates, cups, cutlery & glasses are there for use too. Adequate for what you'd need in a studio. Great apartments & wonderful family. And the best pool in Roda.

She'll be fine.....my other half LOVES his tea & the only time he wasn't happy was once when the electricity went off in the village.
We discovered a coupla hours later that Makis has a gas stove in the bar kitchen! lol So Colin was straight down for his cuppa. lol

All will be fine for you and your wife andy64.
When we were there a couple of years ago, our kettle went kaput and Makis went off and got us another one (brand new) immediately.....what a guy.....only 34 days.......mmmmmm

Didn't get to try the beds last year due to XL going bust, but can't remember them being rock hard before......mind you I take sleeping medicine (cider.....lol) every night, so I wouldn't have noticed. Haven't had a toaster before......but this year, who knows? You can let us know when you get back! Tell Makis we will be there in 3 weeks
