w#eek to 15th January deaths were up 16% to 186 in Greece. It is confirmed Covid new cases will no longer be given: odd as they higher than they were when we had original lockdowns!! Anyway it seems Government has decided Covid is here to stay and they will not release figures. The increase in deaths plus increase in number of people admitted to Hospitals and IC Units suggests cases are also on the increase so care should still be taken especially in places where there are many people around.

Figures have been harder to find but they have now announced that figures for week ending 19th February were 95 deaths. Hospitalisations are on the increase again though which is a bit concerning; it coincides with lots of carnival activity which results in lack of social distancing. To me it shows there is still lots of covid around and it is therefore essential to social distance at all times.
