Happy Christmas to Steve and Jan, and all i have met at coffee mornings. It's a glorious sunny day today, i've been on beach in t-shirt. Had lovely dinner, been giving chocolates to all children i meet. So different to uk, probably as i stay in village and not go to an expat luncheon. A great day to celebrate Christmas and what it should mean. Best wishes to you all, Dave x

We had lunch on the balcony then a walk into the village, managed to avoid being given a second dinner by Toulah as Stacey stepped in in time. We enjoyed the carol singing children in Acharavi the day before, even got a gift of a decorated pine cone from one of the bands that were doing the circuit. Jan

A couple of snaps I took round the village today. The syllagos (village council) have erected some festive decorations around the village. There is a big Xronia Polla Greetings or literally many years) at the crosswords, varioous lamposts have had festive lights wrapped around them and others have had Christmassy pictures and decorations added. The Christmas tree was at the corner by HN travel as you can see. Nemo's has really gone to town this Christmas. The whole of the outside area has been turned into a children's paradise with a post box for St Basil (Father Christmas) and an outside Christmas themed play area. It is a much bigger display than last year and has obviously taken some planning and execution.
Also here is a photo of our Christmas dinner about to be eaten on the balcony in full sunshine, I not really bragging!
