Yesterday the clouds stayed with us for most of the day but it remained dry. The sun did appear from time to time and finally by late afternoon the clouds had cleared to leave a warm evening. The maximum was 23c but there was very high humidity for most of the day. The minimum was 17.9c.
This morning again humidity is high, there is blue sky over the hills but clouds over the sea and to the north west some of which are grey and seem to be heading our way. At 9.30am it is 18.9c.

Yesterday stayed grey all morning and as i walked the hills just before midday thunder was rumbling. The usual fine view to Albania had changed, Albania wasn't visable due to cloud. people were busy laying out nets, collecting olives or in one area chainsaws were busy cutting off branches and small fires were burning the smallest branches and leaves. As i started the descent into Sfakera spits of rain accompanied the thunder and soon turnrd to drizzle. I got home just as the rains turned heavier, they were to last nearly 2 hours. With the rain stopping we soon had a bit of sun over Sfakera but such was the cloud cover it only lasted half an hour. Threatening clouds remained the rest of the evening and night, a breeze also but apart from a short showrr we did not get the thunder as warned. Maximum was only 21.1c.Minimum was 16.5c.
This morning was very dark and dawn revealed total cloud cover, very grey and threatening, but the breeze is still there. we can see Albania but it is a black silloette so at least the clouds are high. Will the rains hold off for the Oxi Day Parades, time will tell. I hope so as it will be my 1st time to see the Parade in Acharavi.

Yesterday morning the rain came at 10am, only a slight shower. However it stayed dark and grey with spots of rain, not much but enough for the Parade to be cancelled much to the disappointment of all. Eventually the clouds moved west and sun could be seen over Albania, you could see it trying to breakthrough here but it never quite made it. The maximim was only 18.2c. As we entered nightime with a mainly clear sky you could tell it would be much cooler than of late. The minimum was 13.6c.
This morning clouds are back, more so to the west and over our hills, Albania has none! There is a reddish tint in the sky in the distance looking out to sea as the sun begins to rise. In Sfakera there are spots of rain on this cold morning.

Yesterday's cold start with spots of rain soon turned to sun and the clouds mostly disappeared. There was slight westerly breeze which made the walk along the beach to Almiros very pleasant, it felt much warmer on the return without the breeze on your face. The sea had just small waves and there were a few enjoying a swim, also the last of the holidaymakers were on loungers soaking up the sun. The maximum in Sfakera was 20.6c with a real feel of 22c.
The evening was starlit but a few clouds were beginning to return. The minimum was 15.4c.
This morning, after remembering to turn the clocks back, we awake to a fresh start, plenty of birdsong and gunshots. The sun is showing on the Albanian mountains, the sky mainly blue but with some thin grey clouds over the sea and in the distance looking west. Another fine day is forecast.

Yesterday the clouds slowly thinned and the sun came through but it took a while to warm up. It was very pleasant sat in t-shirt watching the football in Nymphes at lunchtime. shortly after tnhe clouds started to build so for a while we just had sunny intervals. As evening drew in so the clouds went away leaving a chill in the air by 10pm. Great starlit night but no sign of the moon. Maximum was20.1c, feel warmer and minimum at 7.30am is a chilly 13.1c.
But what a difference following the clocks going back and waking to a cloudless sky. It is clear, lovely duck egg blue sky, deep blue sea, and hazy ovder the Albanian coast. The Sun was up just after 7.30am in Roda and is just reaching Sfakera where the temperature has hardly changed but it looks like a great day ahead.

Yesterday was the fine day it promised to be, lovely sunshine though there was a breeze coming of the sea whipping up small waves, those places still open were having their last day serving breakfast to the few remaining tourists. Inland you did not have the breeze and it felt warmer than the maximum of 20.9c. As night drew in after a lovely sunset the temperature began to fall. A starlit night with the moon evident saw the minimum fall to a very chilly 11.8c at 7am. We wake to a bright day with a fair amount of cloud around, mostly grey unless white in the rising sun, but so far keeping the sun away from us. There is a tropical storm due to pass by Crete today and bad weather forecast for most southern mainland, we should miss that. In fact no rain is farecast for us today and presently we have no breeze but high humidity. Will my washing dry?

Well yesterday was almost a repeat off the day before with the clouds quickly leaving, followed by sunshine. The maximum of 20.3c (real feel 22c). Just as before a lovely sunset following which the temperature drops, a starlit night and a minimum of 11.4c.
This morning the sun is up, there are only distant clouds and it looks likely to be another fine day. Rain is due tomorrow so i must do some work in garden.

Well it was a lovely sunny morning and a local was having a morning swim as i walked along the beach road. Again it was warm enouh for just a t-shirt. A southerly wind pickd up a bit stronger than off late bringing in clouds and making it feel cooler, however as quick as they came they were gone and another yellow sunset was to be enjoyed. The maximum was 20.9c.
It gets dark quite quickly after sunset, about 6.30pm at present, this makes for long evenings. A starlit sky soon saw some low clouds pass by but by midnight there were few left. Enough to stop the temperature falling as much as the last few days, the minimum was15.4c.
This morning there is a fair amount of cloud around but the sun is up and at 8.30am it is 17.2c. Will it be sunny intervals or will it rain

Yesterday's cloud was soon chased away buy a brisk southerly wind and it was very warm when you were in the sun snd sheltered from the wind. There was also plenty of shade in the olive groves where the olives are falling onto the nets helped by the wind. Hdre it showed a maximum of 21.2c (real feel out of the wind was 25c).
Come afternoon the clouds started to roll in over Pantocrator, very grey, almost black in places. It also looked grey and stormy out to sea.walking on beach at sunset the ses was calm but it looked like we had bad weather either sidd of us closing in. Sure enough early evening deep grumbles of thunder were to be heard, some make it seem house was shaking. Added to them came lightening from all sides it seemed. Over Roda and the sea the whole sky shone like a light as the forks of lightening came down, you could see big fluffy clouds, they appeared white due to the light. This carried on for several hours but surprisingly, at least here in Sfakera, there was no rain, light or heavy, to accompany the thunder and lightening. I expect we were lucky and somewhere they had the full storm. It stayed warm overnight and the minimum was only 17.2c
This morning there is still the odd rumble in the air but plenty of blue sky in on view. However clouds over the hills are so far keeping the sun away. There is a breeze but not as brisk as yesterday's and as we aproach 8am it is 18.3c. Time for an early walk as i have to return to Town later.

Yesterday the sun belatedly rose above the clouds, this was due in part to the clouds getting lower and covering the tops of the Pantocrator range. Rumbles of thunder continued and humidity was high and the temperature rising. I went to Town where it was overcast, on the way back the clouds had darkened and by Skripero it was raining, i continued in rain until Rekini. By the time i reached Sfakera at 12.45 there was no signs it had rained there. Mid afternoon the clouds thickened, the thunder returned and just when it looked as if the worst of them had passed it started to rain. The shower didn't last very long and shortly after the clouds vanished and the sun returned, the air seemed fresh. We had a maximum of 22.1c.
With the clouds gone the temperature began to fall after sunset and there was another wonderful starlit night. The minimum was 14.4c.
This morning the sun is up, thin cloud above but larger clouds, mainly white, are over the sea. Albania is hard to see through a haze. There is a slight breeze giving a chilly feeling in the shade.

Yesterday was a lovely day, plenty sunshine and passoing white fluffy clouds, with the odd grey one. The breeze was light and it was lovely walking in the olive groves in the hills, which are a hive of activity, laying nets, collecting fruit, clearing and burning, chainsaw old branches. The temperature crept up to 21.7c. The evening and night again saw many clouds but also patches of stars. The cloud cover kept the minimum to 16.9c.
This morning we have a gusty breeze, which added to weight of 100 fruit, broke a branch off my mandarin tree. Fruit still ripening so maybe ok to juice. Lots of cloud cover, little patches of blue. Clouds are fast moving and grey over the hills. Albania again is hardly visable. It is humid and alreandy 19c at 8.30am.

Hi Kaz, you can keep your frosts and ice!
Steve, mandarins are on me.
Yesterday stayed cloudy all day with the amout of blue sky lessening. There were very dsrk almost black cloudx rolling down from the hills but thining out rapidly over the sea. The threat of rain eas always in the air as i walked early along the beach.A fisherman was removing a box full of shiny silver fish about 8 inches long from his nets. The sun came out in glorious bursts between the clouds, the wind was stronger than recently. Mid afternoon there was a very short shower in Sfakera. watching the football from Corfu Town we found out where the rain was, it was heavy showers that accompanied a 2-0 win for Kerkyra. Here the cloud cover thickened and the wind seemed to get warmer but we never got more than 15 minutes of very light rain, almost spots on the wind. The maximum was 21.1c. The late evening was just more of the same, with lighter flufy clouds under the higher darker ones. The moon was briefly seen but soon vanished. The minimum was an amazing 19.1c.
This morning i wake to much stronger winds and 100% coveroing of fsst moving clouds. it is very humid and amazingly for a day that threatens storms at 8.30am it is 21.9c but feels cooler in the stronger gusts of wind.

Yesterday the grey clouds continued to roll down from the hills blown by a stiff breeze, gusty at times, that kept the rains away. Late mornk g i went for a walk in the hills and it was very warm going up due to humidity. When i got to the vineyards i see why they are where they are, the clearing was a bowl of sunshine. Meanwhile there were spots of rain. The olive groves were damp, the clouds had left their moisture on them and water was dripping from the leaves making some paths slippery and muddy. The suuny intervals continued as the clouds thined and we hit a maximum of 24.1c (real feel 26c) before full cloud cover returned. wind and cloud all evening. During the evening there was a shower and there were several more showers during the night. However the temperature never went below 20.5c. At 10pm i was sat on balcony in a polo shirt in 22c, listening to the warm winds.
This morning through thin clouds can see sky, however Albania is invisible and Roda, just mile away, is hazy. Clearly we are in the clouds. The wind is stronger today and at 8am it was 22.2c. There is a weather warning out for Ionions and all western Greece for storms and possible hailstones so its a question of wait and see.
