We have had such a glut of stuff from our little veg patch. I dread Steve coming back from the garden as it is never empty handed! We have made our first batch of 4L of tomato sauce for the winter and need to make another straight away. The tomato photos show bowls of plum tomatoes (Roma and San Marzano), sweet cherries, both wild and from seeds, Fiorentinos (the segmented ones), and Nimbus. The wild ones grew from the back of the compost heap, along with some squashes. Also a photo of Steve bringing today's collection! The other photo is of the squashes, butternuts, crown prince, a wild Muscat squash, and a couple of delicious pale cucumbers. The jar of gerkins in the back ground is actually this years! Steve accidentally planted a couple of plants in error (Or so he says).
