Morning All
We are looking at booking for next year - just a quick question though
Has anyone travelled with Germania Airlines? if so what is the service like as they advertise on the website that you get complimentary tea and coffee and something to eat as well - is this included with package deals does anyone know?
Cheers
Jason

Hi Jason - Germania is quite a big airline and I think it may be a subsidiary of Air Berlin. What you get on board will be subject to the wishes of your travel company, to whom they are contracted for your flight. It might be best to rely on whatever they say you'll get.

I think they're a German equivalent of Eastjet. Olympic switched us to use these and, although we didn't receive anything free, we did find them a nice flight provider. The plane we travelled on was new looking, clean and quite spacious (for a budget airline). Antony

cool I don't really mind about the freebies - its more to do with the flight! we laughed when we landed back at Gatwick on Tuesday as a slightly bump landing then ended with us stopping with a hell of a jolt! I think he pulled the hand brake on too quickly lol!

We flew with Germania last year. We flew with what we believed a subsiduary airline of theirs Baby Gambia. Although the aircraft was new we were quite surprised that the cabin crew were still selling drinks etc on approach to Corfu. The pilot had to circle twice to accomodate this. The instructions given about emergencies etc were given in German first !!!! I don't recall any 'freebies' However we were told that this was the airline's first flight to Corfu so we forgave those little hiccups. We are flying with them again this year so hopefully these problems will be ironed out.
One thing we were shocked with booking our holiday is that they wanted a £48 premium each to fly in the day.
