Hi All Please can any body tell me the opening times of the pharmacy. We are staying in Arillas but would like to come and spend an evening in Roda and buy some meds while we're there. Thanks

As most pharmacies they observe the customary 'siesta' and are generally open during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM).
These hours, in practice, are subject to the 'Greek Time' philosophy and may well differ slightly on any day.
The other consideration is that at weekends, particularly Sundays, the majority are closed - but operate a rota system within the area - which means that in the case of an urgent requirement there will be one open in the area (e.g. Sidari or Acharavi).

No, not to my knowledge 'homerj'.
But then, I'm only a regular visiting holidaymaker to Roda - Perhaps 'admin' or one of the other Forum members who live there can confirm it.

There is a variation in opening hours from pharmacy to pharmacy and day to day. It is usually no more than 30-60 minutes so, go at peak times and you should be fine. There were occasions, over the last couple of years, when strikes by general and pharmacy workers caused chemists to close on strange days. These seem now to be behind us. As Chris says, there is usually a duty chemist, although it may be as far away as Karousades, or even Kassiopi.
