I just wanted to say what a great holiday me and hubby had in Roda. Our fourth visit and I'm sure it won't be our last. Lovely to see some of you at the get together at Theodoros :-) Stayed at Kosmas Apartments again and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Kosmas family again. Finally dined at the Old Taverna in Old Perithia and wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed the festival in Velonades........beautiful atmosphere. Ate at many establishments in the village. Didn't get to a quiz at Crusoes which was probably down to the fact we were on our own for the first time without daughter who would have made sure we did at least one quiz! Hired a car from Dromeas.....excellent. Taxi from Yannis to and from the airport.......punctual and friendly. I'm guessing we'll be back next year.......unless I win the lottery and I'll be there next week ;-) And a big thank you to all the forum members who are the font of all knowledge and have certainly contributed to making our Roda experiences much more informative and enjoyable. I may not comment very often on here but I do read nearly everything. Best Wishes, Sarah

Sarah, there were 20 of us in total in Roda this year from 12th July and 6 of our group also stayed at the Kosmas from the 14th to the 25th July. We all went to the Greek night at the Kosmas on the 16th and also went to the festival at Velonades. The festival was great (although getting out on the coach was interesting) Don't think I've ever seen so many dead animals being roasted before in my life! The staff at the Kosmas are brilliant aren't they? Tony

We enjoyed the Kosmas greek night so much that we went twice!
I got 'picked' by two different female dancers to wear a hat - or as my daughter put it the crown of shame! They even trusted me with wearing it whilst dancing around the pool!

we were laughing at our first greek night as they picked our 11 year old to get involved in the game requiring clothes removal! luckily she was knocked out before the shorts as I was only wearing swimming shorts!
Can you imagine her choice of any drink from the bar - Fanta lemon!

My husband gave his shorts to the opposition! Disgraceful behaviour lol.
