Hi there. My wife and I will be visiting Roda next month and I was planning on purchasing a prepaid cash card as an alternative to travellers cheques (Yes I still use them! lol) and was wanting to know if there was an ATM in the village that accepted 'MasterCard' so that I could make cash withdrawals. Many thanks for any help given.

Hi David - there are two ATMs in Roda that take Mastercard, but the Alpha Bank ATM by Loft Car hire is by far the cheapest - about 2.2% in fees on a €300 withdrawal. The rate tonight is roughly €1.26 per GBP.

Hi Steve. Many thanks for the quick reply. I'm planning on loading the card with Euro's so hopefully avoiding fees! I've been keeping a beady eye on the weather and it's looking good. Can't wait to visit Roda. We'll be arriving on the 25th from Glasgow.Last time I was in Corfu it was Benitses in'91! Once again many thanks.

Most prepaid cards have no withdrawal fees from the ATMs in Roda

Sorted!I eventually opted to plump for a preloaded (with Euros) Mastercard from Thomas Cook. Not a bad deal.Stuck £1000 on it and got 50 Euros free. Not a lot but in this day and age it's better than nowt. Can't wait to get to Roda to start using it! lol Thanks for all your help guys.
