Our favourite is Theos - partly as its the first place we visited in Roda all those years ago when Kelly was a nipper (and she loved the slide and springboard into the pool - long gone now) and we had to holiday in the pesky school holidays. Now that Kelly is all grown up (and married), Theos remains our favourite complex/pool in Roda but these days we prefer to go in June or September when its a tad quieter. The pool at Venus is excellent too and very quiet and peaceful. I love swimming in the sea but as yet havent worked out how to get into the sea without walking on the pesky sand! And no Pete the 3 of them cant carry me out and drop me in the sea before you suggest it!
regards, Kath.

My favourite pool is Pegasus, although I also like spending time at Makis. I have never walked up to Venus but it sounds like one to try this year.

I like Makis, cos I step out of my apartment onto my sunbed & into the pool! And it's very clean & it's never too busy.

Hmm I can see I need to stop being a hermit and venture out and about next time as we either stay at the pool connected with our apartments or we're on the beach in Roda or out and about! I never felt comfortable with the idea of just walking into a different complex and lying down on a sunbed!! It always struck me as an odd thing to do but my dad keeps telling me to do it. I suppose when you have younger children its just easier to be near your apartment. So I can't really code another pool but I did love the surroundings at Elizabeth with its mountain views, green green grass and beautiful flowers and the background music was always lovely. Added to the fact that the pool was never too big or busy to not be able to see my youngest it has been perfect for us so far.

Nikki has told us of her choice, but we all have our favourites. Which is the best pool in Roda, and why? What do you think?
Steve There are several really good pools in Roda, but for us, the best is undoubtably the "Pegasus Hotel Pool"

Close to hand to me is Afroditi pool.......Afroditi serves the snack bar round the pool and makes the best fruit cocktails ever.....I have to ask for a "small" one because the others are so big..........other than that, I do like the sea which is very healing and to float on the sea and watch the Big boats go by or even the small fishing boats, peddles, lilos it's great............but try all the pools, you will have plenty of time!!!......just enjoy it all

I've swam in many of the pools in Roda and not been in a bad one yet. The pool at Nino's must get a mention because of it's unusual design and also for having the most unbelievably powerful, integrated Jacuzzi jets. So powerful they actually hurt a bit, but if you position yourself properly, they do wonders for a sore/aching back! Highly recommended. Never stayed at Nino's, but always spend time there with Lyndsey, Danny, Nino and Elpida. Lovely atmosphere, people, food and drink. Tony

Steve I didn't say that the "Pegasus" was the only pool we use Steve, I just said that it's the BEST in Roda, in our opinion!
In fact we visit several of the other local pools - "Mirage Pool" at Melinda Apartments being one of them!

I agree with Tony - Nino's is one of the best pools in Roda and is often overlooked. I believe it is an exact replica of a larger pool at a luxury hotel in Thailand.
This is part of the pool complex at nearby Venus Apartments:
