Walk half a km from the centre of Roda and this is what you see - who can name this 'mountain village'?

I'm not sure you can see Nimfes from Roda, Petra - it's hidden in a valley.

I went there once at night (it was dark so I am not sure where it was exactly), thought it was somewhere in the mountains Well, next guess: Agrafoi ; (might be more to the right though....)

I don't think you can see Agrafoi from Roda either, Petra, no matter how hard you try! ;D

That's why I let Bernard do the driving when we are on the island... I am a bad navigator. We should start a business putting roadsigns (signposts) everywhere, that's what I miss everytime we are in greece. Well, I will let someone else guess then....

Jackie - you're a star - I reckon, from the unanimous silence, that nobody had a clue! In fact, I had not realised that you could get such a clear view of Saranda from so close to Roda. This photo, and one or two others, were taken from the top of the hill by the radio masts - a short walk out of the village, were the road turns down to the 'Golden Sand'.

See that building on the top of the hill to the right of the picture - what is it? I've tried taking photos from Kassiopi and zooming in - It's a solid building with small windows - could it be ...?

While your luck's in Jackie, why not have a stab at 'Palm Sandwich' - nobody else seems to know Steve

I thought it was Albania but was too scared to answer - bit like in Maths lessons at school when I was too frightened to put my hand up when asked a question - for fear of getting it wrong?!!
regards, Kath.

A Monastery, or a Prison of some sort.

It seems likely, Chris, but unless anyone can tell us, we'll have to wait until next season to find out.

Is it not the Butrinti (Old Venetian) Castle. I can vaguely remember having to climb up (in a coach) high to get to it. I have been looking at some photos looking down on Sarnade, from that direction.

I should have guessed it wasn't in Corfu. The buildings are all too high rise. Well done Jackie Nikki
