Hi Pete as far as I know the breakfast is continental but I am not sure if you can pay extra for a full english. I have heard people say that the continental is very nice though. Stacy

Hi, So Sorry to hear that, I think alot of people will be a little dubious for a while at least. My dad is staying at the Aphrodite in October when he comes over for my sons christening, I will get him to write about it on his return. Stacy.

Hi Pete, Have posted holiday review for Aphrodite today which should help you. Recommend booking sea view rooms though as my daughter had side room (opposite new bar on main street)which she found very noisy. Breakfast consists of coffee, orange juice, hard boiled egg, cake, very hard toast (sort you buy in a packet) & the most terrific bread roll that is usually hot & so very fresh you cannot resist it. You also get a plate with plenty of butter & jam and a plate of sliced cheese & ham. As you can see it is quite substantial. There is also a menu on the table so you can order full english, scrambled egg on toast etc if you want to do this & pay extra for it. I was going to book on-line this year but was not clear if we were booking sea view rooms or not so I rang Direct Holidays & they booked for me at same price as on-line. All in all it was a brilliant holiday and cannot wait to return next year.
Kind regards
Sylvia.

Hi linnie - the tour companies are always playing games and it's not just Roda. They announce in the press that certain destinations are very popular, but they are in fact manipulating the bookings to make them appear that way. This practice does not help the village at all and that is exactly what they want because they make more money from company-owned all-inclusives in less stable countries. They will continue to turn people away from their favourite resorts until the company-owned all-inclusives are full, when, as if by magic, your first choice (sorry about the pun) is suddenly available again. I have written two letters to ABTA and one has been forwarded to TUI for a response - nothing yet. Why not try again with a different agent and under a different name - it might just get a different response. I will write again to ABTA.

Hi everyone, stayed at the Afroditi last year, the breakfasts are indeed continental, bread roll, ham, cheese slices, hard boiled egg, piece of cake & glass of orange juice every day, you could have a full english but you had to pay for it. Rooms were nice ours had a bath was just a small one, no tea or coffee facilities in the room if you like a morning cuppa, no fridge either. Maids came in every day we were there apart from a sunday, we paid extra for a sea room which was certainly worth it, all in all a nice hotel only thing i would have changed is a bit of a change breakfast wise joolsd

Well done, linnie - I think that more of us should demand fair play from the tour companies who are clearly not telling the truth.
