Welcome to rodaonline, Kevin. In October, I went to see Helen, one of the owners, with exactly the same question. She was most emphatic that every room has air-conditioning, but I still have my doubts about the annexe. Does anyone know for sure?

I don't think the annex has air conditioning in any of the rooms. You could email Helen to ask her www.elizabethroda.com Luv Jan xx

This might help .... Description of rooms on Thomson site.. Apartments have kitchenette, air-conditioning at a charge, and balcony or terrace. 1 bedroom apartments sleep up to 4 people and are split level with a double bed and single sofa beds. 2 bedroom apartments sleep up to 4 people with twin beds. 2 bedroom apartments located in Spiretos annexe sleep up to 4 people with one room a double bed and the other twin beds and are without air-conditioning. What was being said in the brochure was the very reason that someone contacted me in October and why I asked Helen at the time. She was very clear about it, but I still have doubts.

Welcome to the Forum Kevin, Is it your first time in Corfu? June can be very hot, depending on the dates you plan to be there .......... Early June you may not need A/Con but into the end of June - into July .......... for a lot of people it's a must !!! Don't let the A/Con ( or not ) worry you ........ Just start to panic on the 1st June !!! Then have a beer on the'plane and just enjoy your holiday !!!

I have stayed in the annex twice and although advertised as part of the Elizabeth it is owned by an elderly couple, there is no air conditioning in the annex although you can hire a fan but all it does is push warm air around the room. I hope this helps

The aprtments for all they dont have aircon are very nice, and yes they do have a working fridge, as i said previously i have stayed in them twice and had a fab holiday both times. If it gets too warm just have another cool refreshing cocktail, it works for me lol as those who know me will agree.

Hah! Sounds like my sort of cooling down, Sheena! lol
I don't like air-con - I always just hire a fan instead.

Thank you to every one that answered my querie regarding the air con.
Looks like i will be saving money then as a fan will cost less to hire. That will leave plenty of money for those refreshing cocktails.
Another quickie. My partner will be 50 when we are in Roda. Any ideas where i can take her for a special night out on her birthday.

Hi newsham, Well every restaurant in Roda is special in it's own way so it will be very much a personal choice for you based on what food you prefer. I would suggest Pangolas ( Kind Hearted Place) in the centre of the village for a lovely romantic meal on the outside eating area whilst watching the incredible Roda sunsets. And being in the centre of the village you will find bars a plenty within yards (literally)for pre or post meal drinks! What ever you pick i am sure you will have a great evening.

Table for two on the beach at sunset - it was done about four years ago - everything served fresh and the waiter retired gracefully to allow the romantic couple to pursue their dreams.
