Nobody has to be afraid anymore to come to Greece ...because this is what I read on the website of BBC news: "Greece says it will cover the extra costs for any tourists stranded in the country as a result of industrial action or natural disaster. The offer is part of an effort to improve Greece's image, which has been damaged by strikes and protests over government austerity measures. Tourism generates almost 20% of the nation's income, but bookings are down by about 10%, industry experts say. " If you want to read the whole article ,goto: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/10372235.stm

Sorry Petra, I have posted the same link on another topic which was asking about strikes. I referred the link to tell the poster not to worry. Good news for both topics.

Had a few BZ's in my time, but also a lot of BY's. Sorry folks a Naval Banter.
It is good to make sure tourists get the information just in case it is needed, moreso if the Greek government are offering it.
