Not Andy's first choice, that's for sure, but this is the real thing - Rabbit Stifado. It is available at most restaurants in Roda, but if you want it with rabbit instead of beef, order a day or so in advance or look for the 'specials board'. This is tonight's dinner, before it is eaten! ;D Food miles? - about 30 metres!

:'(Not my first choice either Chief, I have a quite rare allergy...... Tomatoes, but I might just have to suffer a bit for the sake of...... Oh ok... pure greed !!

One of my favourite dishes, with both meats, but preferably with rabbit. Quite often I will by a rabbit if I can get hold of them, and serve up the dish. To those a bit squeamish I say it is chicken. Thankfully we can get rabbit often.

Your husband has my full sympathy Jan, I tried anti-histamines which reduced 'heat bumps' and itching but I still had a quick bout of the dreaded ''Zorba Two-Step'' !!! but for a taste of heaven it's a small price to pay.

Not Andy's first choice, that's for sure, ;D Can't say I've ever fancied eating rabbit, even before this veggie thing I'm into now, don't know why,but it never appealed to me

Steve and Julie, would you be willing to share your recipe, or divulge the recipe for the above dish. I personally would like to compare the recipe with the one I have. I am sure the one above would be far more authentic than mine. Thank you.
