Hi, you will all enjoy staying at Roda Oasis, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool and area is very clean, food is served during the day from the snack bar and is always well presented.
During the evening the boys Kostas and Nicko who own the hotel have entertainment late into the evening. They have there own web site so you can google it and get all the infor pic's from there.
Have a wonderful time. Jilly

Stelli bar and pool no longer exist but there are a number of bigger (safer) pools around the village. The water park at Acharavi is an excellent day out you can book in the village and get transported there and back as part of the price. How old are your girls? Mine are 11 and 14 and have enjoyed Hydropolis since they were tiny. As already posted the Five Roses is now called Opa and is an excellent place to eat, one of many in Roda.

Opa is still run by Yannis and Eleni, it was a bit hard for me to get used to Yannis as a chef rather than a landlord but OPA is a wonderful restaurant and I think it's an improvement

Welcome to RodaOnline oldrottenhead and great to hear that you are returning to Roda after many years, I a sure that you will find many changes but lots of familiar faces.
As you have found, the Forum users have a wealth of information and almost any question can be answered, quickly too!
I think the only unanswered question from your original post was about the Drosia - yes it is still here and run by Adonis. It hasn't been open yet this winter but I think it will be at the end of February.
Once again, welcome to RodaOnline and please, if you have any other questions, just post here! ;D

Hi there oldrottenhead (v strange name!!) Oasis Hotel top notch !!!! The Brothers Kostas and Nicko are anything but Grim. They are always on the look-out for a laugh and are quite happy to go along with almost any wind-up or prank as long as it's safe and in reasonably good taste. Rooms/apartments are kept spotless and the whole staff are very friendly and make you feel at home (away from home). Mention my name (v sensible) to Kostas and have a drink on me. Yammas!!!!

Hi Oldrottenhead, glad to be of assistance, I picked up my 'name' in the RN, Johno short for Johnston, and later whilst in the Submarine Service, The Fish ( I am a very strong swimmer, nothing to do with the copious amounts of cider I can quaff !!) I have constant contact with 'The lads' at the Oasis so if anything else I can help with, just ask. I've just heard (grape vine) that the Oasis has been overbooked this week by TC/Direct and Kostas has been running around like a headless chicken arranging alternative Hotels for 'extra' guests. I'll let you know gen in Personal Message when I've talked to Kostas. No tatties and neeps with mince?.....Sad!
