We have spent many an hour at the Panorama. Have been told that it has had a major revamp. Does this include the apartments? We think this is wonderful place run by lovely people and would really like to stay there but the apartments do no look appealing. Have they been done up?

I have no idea what these apartments are like, but I will let you know in three weeks when we return. We are off for two weeks there next Monday, and got a really, really good deal. We don't particularly care if the accommodation is basic (we are regular visitors to Corfu) and we also dont mind that there is some noise from nearby bars (watch out, it might be us making it lol)
We are just looking forward to two weeks of decent weather, lovely nights out in the local bars and restaurants, and meeting friends old and new.
See you all in just over a week!

We stayed at the Panorama many years ago. The apartments were small and very, very basic but I don't know what they are like today......looking forward to hearing about them from Boltonlynda.
We ate there in July and as always the food and service are 2nd to none....(I recommend the greek platter).
We got a shock when we saw the improvements they had made to the restaurant, which is now called 'Thalesea'...(not sure if I've spelt it right).
A lovely family whom we have known for many years now.
They also have a great Greek night which I think was on Thursday.

It's quite a clever little name, Jean - they have spelled it 'Thalasea', which we guess is said THA-LA-SEE-A. It's clever because the Greek word for the sea is 'thalassa'. Steve

I sunbathed at the Panorama last week, there seemed to be a number of people staying at the appartments, their snack bar & restaurant food was very good.

Well, as promised, here is my report on the Panorama.
The apartment was basic, but had everything we needed for a fab holiday. The beds were clean, and very comfortable. The maid was in several times, and we had clean sheets and towels at least 3 times. The pool area is great, well maintained and clean and the poolside bar offers a great range of snacks and meals at reasonable prices (although now closed for the winter)
Our apartment was at the front, so overlooked the road. Yes, there was a bit of noise from the bar over the road, but we took earplugs and didnt lose a minutes sleep!
The "Thalasea" restaurant looks fantastic, I believe it has been recently renovated. The food in there was of a very high standard, and it was one of our favourite eating places in Roda - we ate there several times during our stay.
All in all, we had a brilliant holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Panorama to anyone wanting a great value holiday, with everything on your doorstep. I would go again tomorrow if I could get the time off work!
