it's almost holiday booking time for 2010 at work so over the next month or two nick and i need make some definiatly decisions as to where we are staying. we are between two places now - pegasus (which we've found loads of piccies online of) or spiros. does anyone have any piccies of spiros (pool, rooms, etc?) just cos nick likes to have an idea of these things before we book. theres a couple on his site of the pool but can't really judge the size, is it quite large or is it a smaller pool? also any feed back on either hotel much appreciated (i have read both threads on here already but still in dilema). we are looking at coming two weeks start of sep as i remember the sea was lovely and warm then.

You're quite right becks, the sea in September is just about at its highest temperature. Do you mean Spiros No1? I'm sure that others who have stayed there will answer.

yep thats the one, in the rural area, just across the bridge if i remember properly?
i think thomas cook are doing package holidays there this year, we are toying between them and olympic who are doing pegusus. both are terrible flights but that's just a small sacrifice for what i know will be a fabulous two weeks!

Hi Becks
Both places are fine. Spiros No. 1 is a bit more of a trek of an evening but it has a reputation for being a very welcoming and homely family run place. I've not stayed there but I've never hear anyone say anything bad about it. When I went over to see the evenign acts that they had on, the pool area looked smallish but nice (tha may have been a retsina clouded memory though!). I do remeber the family who run it being extremely welcoming to us and the residents.
Wherever you choose, you'll love Roda.
