We follow the weather on AccuWeather, its the one on the front page of Roda Online. At the moment, there are a couple of days which are forecasting a couple of passing showers, Monday and Tuesday look to have the highest chance of brief showers but nothing too serious, and then back to normal! It may not happen at all as often the winds change, so don't despair. Julie

Don't forget that all weather forecasts for Corfu are for the whole of the island. It's a bit like Cornwall where, according to wind direction, the east coast can be quite different than the west. We often have bright sunny days when Corfu Town has a storm.

I have just noticed that my weather link has changed since yesterday. Yesterday it showed Rain and Thunderstorms over the next 5 days, now it just shows, Chance of Thunderstorms. It changes so quickly, from coast to coast. Enjoy the holidays anyway.

Looking at the accuweather for next few days, the tan I am working on will get more colour in Sheffield rather than Roda. Hope the weather improves by the 29th. Bev ;D ;D

Bev - we had some rain overnight (the best kind) - a few spots late morning, and then the wind swung to the north, then to the south. No reason to think your tan is in jeopardy - or anywhere else, for that matter!! ;D ;D

Hope the sun shines for you Craig, I'm only jealous still have a week until arrive. Sun is still not shining in Sheffield so tan is getting no work. Enjoy yourself and don't drink Roda dry before we arrive. Bev.

Hello Craig,
We wont be able to come to Roda this year, so I hope you have a lovely time, forget the weather just to be in Roda is great, and if it does rain it's very warm and will last for about 5 minutes .. and as you said just find a bar and enjoy yourself, and raise a glass to those of us who can't make this year (mines a large glass no make it a jug of the finest roda red wine !!) please keep in touch via the forum its the only thing that keeps me going as i wont be able to make it this year. Have a very happy holiday.
Susie xx

Talking about raising a glass of Roda red wine, I have to say that the best home-produced red wine we have ever tasted in Roda (barring Eftichia's 'noble rot', which is not for sale!) was this week at Pangalos (Kind Hearted Place). It is dry, fruity and absolutely delicious! The perfect accompaniment to 'pastitsio'. It is a reflection of last year's weather and this year - the unusual mix of sun & rain has caused the grapes for eating to be very promising - come back in September to find out! Steve
