For many years, generations of holidaymakers staying near the centre of the village have relied on Sotiris to wake them up for another great day in Roda. If you know what I'm talking about, then this year you will need to bring an alarm clock as Sotiris has embraced the 21st century and bought himself a new motor which purrs like a kitten. This was him at a recent three-hour pit stop.

That was a sight we always looked for on return, will be struggling to recognise now. Hope he doesn't paint the trailer. Bev

Don't worry, Bev, it's still the same old trailer - typical of Corfu, blending the best of the old with the best of the new! ;D

It's great to watch people's faces when Kostas says that, there is that split-second of belief before they realise. I've heard it so many times, but it never fails to get a response! ;D ;D ;D

Hope Sotiris did`t change the engine just because the shoelace supporting the dynamo in place had worn out. (if it was an engine fault i could have fixed it in time..... greek time ) 2 years ago i offered him 100 drachmas, for the whole thing but he loved it too much to part with. John
