At sea level today, we have had some hail sweeping across the bay. Locals are reporting that up in the hills there is snow on the ground. Forgive me if I don't investigate! Steve

Arrived yesterday, Dave - a friend delivered them to the garage last night. There is some welding to be done so it will be a little while yet.

Can you photograph wind-chill? Not easily - this is the best impression I could come up with this morning. The wind is now due North gusting to about 45km/h - straight off the snow over twenty-odd miles of cold water and straight through our front door - bit like living in Newcastle, really!! ;D

Steve,I'm surprised you let spanish eyes away with what he called your pride&joy(Sofia)or did it not warrant a curse reply.I got a phone call last night to say you had up to 4" of snow, apparently the electrician from Platonas got halfway down to the village & turned back obviously he has no Geordie blood in him we would have walked there & back in our vests with our toolbag over our shoulder.Just make sure you keep the white stuff over there for now.

4" of snow between Platonas & Roda, Dave, I thought by now you'd know a good yarn when it's spun. The electrician's name wasn't Michaelis, was it? Steve
