There's a chilly wind blowing in off the sea in Roda today, but the weather is absolutely sparkling. The air temperature might be low, the chill factor might be high, but it's fresh & bracing, bright & breezy - just the day for walking and taking in giant gulps of ultra-fresh air. The view from the sea-front is like a winter view of Snowdonia from Anglesey - but three times the size. The snow-capped Balkans look like the Alps viewed across a clear glacial lake and it's easy to wrap up and forget about the chill.

Hi Julie@Steve the weather here in north wales is milder today still a bit of snow over moel fammau but we are optimistic it is getting better xx chris and billy

Me again Chris - I've never walked up Moel Fammau - it always looks too bleak to me! Having said that, it can't be worse than sitting on Roda's harbour tonight.
