Following the collapse of Monarch, who haven't flown to Corfu for a couple of years now, lots of bookrd holidaymakers were left with a problem. Other TOs have stepped in to accept their bookings, however some do not fly to the Islands that were served by Monarch, e.g. Faros. They have been rebooked elsewhere with many coming to Corfu.
This information was found out by a Corfu arrivee who was surprised her usually 20% full flight this Monday was full. She therefore asked a Steward wondering why so busy this time of year. So Corfu benefits with extra tourists just before the season closes.
