hi all, ( happy holidays) Would anybody know the price of a taxi from Roda to St Stephanos, the one that is the other side Kassiopi. ( I know there's two)I'm weighing the cost up against hiring a car for one day. I have booked a table at restaurant Agni, and the water taxi is collecting us from Stephanos.. Has anybody eaten here, I'd appreciate feedback. Andy

Hi Andy
Cant help with price of taxi I'm afraid but I can tell you that Taverna Agni is well worth a visit. We did this trip about 5 years ago (for a Father's Day treat I seem to recall). My son in law particularly loved the boat ride to and from the restaurant. The food was delicious and the setting is idyllic - I would definitely recommend for a special occasion (too pricey to do too often - for us anyway). Enjoy!
regards, Kath.

If my memory serves me well (from 5 years ago) we spent about 100-120 Euros for 4 of us (including 5€ per person for boat taxi) that was for 4 starters, 4 main courses and drinks/wine. Will ask my daughter and son in law if they remember better than I - my other half has just shrugged his shoulders with a blank look on his face !!!!

We have eaten at all three tavernas over the past 12 years or so but have to confess that we prefer Taverna Nicholas both for the food , price and service

I agree with Richard - Taverna Nikolas would be my choice and far better value. Perikles is sure to make you very welcome. Contact him on www.agnibay.com/.

Thanks guys for the info. I think the water taxi swung it Agni,s way though. I may go very early to meet the boat. St Stephanos looks beautiful.. Swimming costume in a beach bag I think!
