So sorry to hear about Villa Olga. However, your spirit and tenacity will prevail. Good luck on your journey, and finding a resting place on arrival.

August 22nd and 23rd at Lake Lucerne Switzerland
Quite a long trip from Metz France to Lake Lucerne but my god so worth it. Arriving at the campsite in Horw we were treated to an amazing display by the Swiss equivalent of the Red Arrows who were flying between the majestic mountains and over Lake Lucerne, It took our breath away. Travelled through tunnel after tunnel but that in itself was an experience. Just a short walk from our caravan pitch is a nature reserve walking on wooden platforms through a marsh where we saw countless large lime green frogs then turned a corner to come face to face with the edge of the Lake. Wow as we stood soaking up the view a pair of Swans with cygnets came towards us and we were hand feeding them. Then we were surrounded by dozens of ducks and believe it or not sparrows which were also taking bead from or hands. Met a lovely British couple who were camping on to of their land rover (I kid you not) see photo attached. All pretty shattered today so decided to have a complete break from driving so spent a lovely day at Janet and Johns hotel which had it all, Swimming pool, sauna and magnificent views across the lake and mountain's from their balcony. Our dogs were also welcome. Sue had a lovely long soak in the bath then we walked through the village, sat by the lake and had lovely brunch in the local patisserie. Gil and John watched the Swans match in the afternoon whilst Sue and Jan caught up with their face books. Went out for a lovely evening meal then back to the camp site. weather cloudy all day and now it's raining. Tomorrow 24th August it's off to Lake Garda in Italy for 3 days. August 22nd and 23rd at Lake Lucerne Switzerland
