I walked back from Acharavi tonight having taken our beloved camper into the garage for a job or two while we're away. It was just before 6:00pm, the light was fading, the sea was calm, apart from two anglers, there was nobody along the beach and it was so warm that I could have gone for a swim. At 5:00pm it was 170C and there will be very few people lighting fires tonight. It's hard to think that this stunning view of St George's Bay will be lost to us for the next eight weeks, it has become such an integral part of our lives. It's now 9:00pm and the wind is howling through our apartment meaning that there is a southerly picking up - maybe the weather will delay us a little, who knows?

Thanks for that, we'll try to keep you updated over the next eight weeks as much as possible. That's a long list of people for us to say hello to and we'll gladly go back tomorrow to convey your best wishes!! ;D The only ones we haven't seen much of are Spiros & Miriam - I guess Spiros is flat out with his olive press as this year's crop looks like being a good one. We think that Kostas (taxis) is spending the whole winter in the UK, this year - he seems to enjoy the snow anyway! We'll try to find a few little quips to help you through the winter.
Once again, thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you again in 2009.
Kalo Xristouyienna!
Steve & Julie
