Hello everyone!
My first time on the forum and first time to Roda. Looking to book 2 weeks from around 9 Sept. Due to an ongoing lung condition we'd like to be in easy reach of a good selection of taverna's / bars rather than on the outskirts, walking up inclines is also uncomfortable. Thinking of the Valentinos Apartments, it would be great to have any feedback on this or other suitable places to stay in Roda?
Many thanks! Kate

Hi Kates & welcome to the forum, the vast majority of the village is on the flat so that should suit you. How many are in your party? This will determine to some effect on where would be the best to stay, Valentinos, although not too far from the center is a 5/10 minute stroll away. Have a look at the map of the village on the main Rodaonline website, lots of acomodations are marked on there, there are quite a few that are a bit closer than Valentino's. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have, one of us will be able to give you the answer. pete.

Many thanks Pete! Just the two of us, glad to hear it's mostly flat, 5-10 mins on 'Greek time' is do-able!!

Hello Jacks, many thanks and sorry for the very late reply!
I can't spot Valentinos on the map but I think it's near-ish to the Silver Beech... is that right? I'm basically looking for somewhere central with a pool, hoping to get it booked this weekend so any advice on places to try would be fab.

Hi Kate, Valentino's are situated next to the road junction between Fiona Theodoros and Elizabeth apartments on the map. pete.

Just had a quick look at the map and was amazed at how many "businesses" are either no longer there or are now called something else - ok for us regulars but could be quite tricky for newbies.
regards, Kath.

Hi Kath, you're quite right, work is ongoing on a new map but it's no easy task but hey, this is Greece and as you know everything takes a little longer over here pete.
