I've just been into the village and, once again, it's busy. Whatever the weather, the Greeks, in particular, like nothing more than to dress up - semi-smart - and meet friends and family for coffee. Where we live in the UK, you are hard-pressed to find anywhere for coffee on a Sunday, unless it's a shopping centre, and nowhere at all after 5:00pm even on a weekday. Across the rest of Europe everybody will be out now socialising over coffee and, maybe, the odd cognac, but the UK seems to miss out altogether on this wonderful time of the week.
This morning, Pirates' and Nemo were both busy, Mistral & Roundabout both had customers, and the first lunchtime diners were arriving at Drosia. Add to that Stella's second table-top sale and, once again, there was little room to park anywhere in Roda.

Today is our first sunday without soccer ... it's snowing again. And the boys don't know what to do with their sparetime , they are just watching television ..and no-lifing behind the laptop.. And Kelly has gone out to spend time with her friend. Would have loved to be there with the 4 of us at Nemos or Pirates or even at the tabletop sale....
