It's that time of year, folks - it's not like summer in Roda when the answer is simply 'shorts & T shirt', or winter in the frozen north when you simply wear anything as long as it's warm and keeps you dry. November in Roda this year has been a 'Village of Contrasts' in more ways than one. Yesterday, I was lying on the beach, drying off after a long walk and a swim, and it could have been a fine, hot day in May or September. Today, it's cloudy and there are a few rumblings coming from Magoulades. (We always blame Magoulades for our bad weather & our friend who lives there blames us). And so, that age-old question has just been uttered ... decisions, decisions, decisions. Frankly, as long as we can get to Pirates' Bar for breakfast, who cares?

Yesterday in Roda it rained steadily all day - today - well that's a different issue! Wall-to-wall sunshine and a dizzy 180C.

Well, yesterday's cloud has cleared from the Balkans and look what it left behind. Yes, you saw it here first, folks - Christmas arrives in Corfu (well nearly!). This is the view just a few minutes ago:
