hopefully in the next 4 weeks I will be booking a fortnight in Roda, for me, hubby, my mum and dad.
my dads insistent that he wants a package holiday which dictates slightly on which hotels we can stay at if we want decent flights, so i wondered if anyone has experienced Easy Jet holidays yet?

Never tried them Becks but as they dont include transfers or baggage in price and the only thing different from booking everything individually would be the services of a rep...who would no doubt book you trips at over inflated prices. Might be worth trying to talk him into booking the easyjet flights, transfers and then having a much better choice of accommodation. I'm sure you have a good idea of the accommodation available and where they all are and if not I'm sure everyone on here could give you good advice. There isn't much in the way of choice with Easyjet and probably works out much more expensive than doing it direct. Introduce him to forum

My dads a no budger Vodkalil- it all stemmed from the Spanish adhoch airstrikes last Dec, my cousin lost money as accommodation and flights were deemed as being booked separate via lowcost, the accommodation wouldn't pay out as they argued accommodation was still available and able to provide their part of the contract, and then the insurance (virgin) wouldn't pay out as the strike wasn't an official one.
The actual package you can add the baggage and transfers on, even with these added the prices are quite reasonable I have to admit; although I would probably do my transfers through A2B as the easy jet transfers (which are done by resort hoppa) are almost double the price (we usually use a taxi but Dad isnt great when others are driving so is better on a coach than squeezed into a taxi)
Dads not one for excursions - he likes to hire a car and do his own thing so the reps wont stand a chance with their overpriced trips lol. He's fine with leaving me to chose accommodation, its just the whole package thing with my dad.

From that point I can understand Becks... It's a shame insurances don't cover these things and the way things are with the Greek strikes it does make sense. Hopefully someone will be able to let you know if they've used Easyjet holidays.

As I understand it, Beckie, easyJet's package holidays are in conjunction with the Lowcost Travel Group who won the contract for something like three years. You can find them on www.lowcosttravelgroup.com/Steve

I used EasyJet last year............and of course you have to get your own transport and pay for extra weight (luggage), the journey was comfortable, plenty of leg room but drinks were pricey....it was a good flight...........but this year I want to do Package, it works out too expensive to go Independent to the hotel of my choice..........at least everything is covered with package (Ins)

We also booked a package with Easy Jet in August....staying at Makis...(don't think he is with them next year tho'). We had a very good flight, good check in, good boarding....no complaints at all. We used Roda taxi's for transfer as we usually do. Don't think there was a rep in the resort.....not that we would have used them anyway.
