‘Rodaonline’ was launched on September 27 to replace ‘officialroda.com' as a result of difficulties with the original website developers. One of their personal projects was the introduction of the ‘Roda Review’ online magazine in May 2008 and a number of ongoing commitments were made by them to individuals in the village. The next edition of the magazine should have been online today but, as yet, it has not appeared meaning that those commitments have not been honoured. We are very disappointed, but we must now assume that ‘Roda Review’ will not continue.
By way of fulfilling their obligations to these individuals, we will try to produce a new magazine for Roda before Christmas.

No real surprise there, after what we learned in September. Good luck with the "new" review, I'm sure it will be worth waiting for. Pete.

Thanks Pete - if anyone fancies contributing something about Roda & the immediate area that will be informative and interesting, then please feel free to contact us. Anything over 50 words & up to a maximum of 400, maybe supported by photos and seasonal wherever possible - we'd like to hear from you. We can't promise to publish everything and we may have to edit what you send, but all contributions are welcome. Nothing has been decided yet, but our deadline will probably need to be about 5th December.

Until we knew whether or not the magazine would be published today, we had prepared nothing. The new magazine will be your magazine, promoting the village that you love and celebrating all the happy times you have spent there.
Who can come up with a really appropriate name?

How about "HAPPY DAYS" or "ISLAND DREAMS" or "A PLACE IN THE SUN" Pete.

May I say Julie and Steve, if you put 50% of what you have done on the Roda Online Forum and Pages, in to the Roda Magazine, it will be a flyer. The people of Roda are fortunate to have you guys there to take the reigns, and make this work again, but for the people of Roda and not self gain. Good Luck to you both, and those who help.
THE RODA REGAL
THE RODA REVIEW
THE RODA READER
Just a few to help out.

As in "It's all Greek to me"............" It's all Roda for me " ( not corrrect english ??) Roda online magazine Kerkyra/ holiday guide. Discover Roda, (rough) diamond in northern Kerkyra. Roda survey. By the way, Julie and Steve, do you even have time to spare ,to go to the UK this winter? Roda is keeping you very busy!! Bernard is also complaining to me he thinks I am online far too much.... reading all the posts and the news, lokking at the beautiful photographs. Wish I could be overthere to help you out with Roda PR.

Hi Petra - no, we don't have time to go to the UK, and we're afraid that there will be a little less news when we do so. However, for two or three weeks, Christmas will keep everyone pre-occupied and we've got plenty up our sleeves - if you understand that quaint English expression.
One day you will be here to help, we're sure - we look forward to it.
