I heard this yesterday in the village, and again tonight. I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet here, but 'bmibaby' has announced seven new destinations as part of its summer 2012 schedule and flights went on sale on Wednesday for people wanting to fly from from East Midlands Airport to Corfu. It is strange that, in a year when half the travelling public can't afford a holiday and Corfu is very quiet as customers are pushed to other countries, we have more airlines wanting to fly here than for many years. EasyJet of course were the first, but now we have Ryanair, Monarch and bmibaby as well.

Evidently, the bmibaby flights are at good times, they are cheap, especially if you book in online, and the luggage allowances are generous. It is also reported that easJet are now running three Sunday flights to Corfu from Gatwick.
