Alexandros apts are now available for Greek Easter 2011. Easter Sunday falls on April the 24th, the same this year as the Catholic Easter. Celebrations start a few days before . We will offer a traditional Easter lunch of lamb on the spit for all our guests. The plan is to arrange excursions to Corfu town to join in the celebrations. For further info, or to book, contact me, Anna, on 0030 6948840885 or email joannakoskina@hotmail.com

Don't forget that easyJet flights start in April and the schedules for Bristol and Manchester have already been announced. Gatwick will follow soon.

Hi, Easter is celebrated in Greece at a different time to UK. They, I think, I have this correct celebrate the Greek Orthodox Easter which is usually earlier. Correct me if I am wrong Jilly

This year the two Easters are celebrated on the same weekend. That is the Greek Orthodox and ours are the same date. Looked into it as I am coming out to have my first Corfiot Easter with friends. I am so looking forward to it.

thanks jacks! , for tourists from holland it's a bit easier to come the end of april than to come the beginning of the month (no planes at all to Corfu). Don't know yet about Easter holiday for our "schoolkids", might be they only have 2 days off.

I think Anna might be wrong about the date of Greek Orthodox Easter 2011. It is on April 24th and it is the same as the Catholic Easter. These are the dates for the next few years and you can see that they fall together on every fourth year.
2011 - Easter Sunday - April 24th (same) 2012 - Easter Sunday - April 15th 2013 - Easter Sunday - May 5th 2014 - Easter Sunday - April 20th (same)
I will speak to Anna tonight about her announcement.

Greek Orthodox Easter in 2011 falls on 24th April, just one week before the summer season begins. For those who love all things Greek, it is the very best time to be in Corfu. Next year, Alexandros Apartments will be opening earlier than usual to give visitors the opportunity to share in the unique experience of Greek Easter.
