Scanning the Greek Media, there is nothing to indicate any pending ATC Strikes. The last one being on the 15th July (last Thursday).
French ATC are striking today, which may affect some UK Flights.
Some ATC Strikes are threatened in the Balearics (Majorca etc)
For more information for the future on strikes, see this link: TRAVEL STRIKE INFORMATION
Hope this helps.

Found this; Flights in and out of Greece will be disrupted on July 25 when air traffic controllers go on strike.
Air Traffic Controllers’ Association of Greece-EEEKE announced that they will initiate rolling 24-hours strikes. The first strike will start on Sunday July 25, 2010, at 00:01 and finish until 24:00 local time.
Greek air traffic controllers demand payments for overtime work and the opening of new jobs in order to increase “air traffic safety” as they write in a statement on their website.
Air controllers’ strike affect primarily the tourism sector, “which accounts for nearly a fifth of Greece’s 240 billion euro economy” Reuters reports.
Yiannis Kourmoulakis, general secretary of the controllers union, said to Reuters, they did not take part in May and June general strikes in order to avoid hurting the country’s vital sector. “Unfortunately they (the government) did not make use of the time we gave them,” Kourmoulakis said. CC

The above comment by CC has now been added to the link I posted earlier. Still nothing in the media as yet, none that I can find anyway.

Nice of the Air Traffic Controllers to call a strike on a Sunday. Most UK flight are Friday, Saturday and Monday. A little PR exercise perhaps......

The following news item is taken from the Kathimerini News of today.
Airport protests
Air-traffic controllers carried out a work-to-rule protest yesterday, causing delays for a number of flights as they observed strict limits on the number of airplanes that could be in Greek air space at any given time. The controllers are demanding better wages and the hiring of more staff but the government has said that it cannot meet their demands. The civil servants said that they would hold rolling 24-hour strikes as of Sunday, although such action by air-traffic controllers is usually deemed illegal in court and prevented from going ahead.

However, if your flight is due in Corfu at 11pm Saturday I would be amazed if EJ make that journey to be possibly stranded on Corfu for 24 hours!

Hi Kath, easy Jet may well use the enforced stop-over to 'rest' a crew who are close to their limit of flying hours. Airlines quite regularly use this type of stop-over for minor maintenance/ defect rectification. Hope no-one has a problem... Johno
