Where we stayed on Corfu was also B&B, and included a breakfast of Croissants, Cereals, Tea and Coffee, Fruit Juice, and Toast if needed, with jams and marmalade, and of course Marmite.
However, the owners, who became very good friends, for an extra €2, offered a full English, if needed, including all of the above.
It is obvious a case of finding the right honest place.

i understand that chris,and fully agree if you go bnb you dont expect a fridge/kettle/cooker in your room if u go self catering it is normal to expect that these utensils to be in the room ,wether you use them or not imagine a first time visitor encountering this surcharge i doubt if they would return , john
